Screen Replacement for iPhone 8 Plus Black(5.5")

Good quality -- fixed my daughter’s phone and stocked up for the future! I used this kit to replace the cracked screen on my daughter’s iPhone 8 Plus, and it worked out well. The screen looks good -- the colors and 3D Touch feel close enough to the original. I was satisfied enough that I bought two more kits -- one for another repair, and one as a backup in case the price increases in the near future. But be prepared to take your time. It took me about an hour and a half to finish, definitely longer than the suggested 30 minutes. Transferring the ear speaker, front camera, and home button from the old screen takes patience, and aligning the waterproof seal is a bit tricky if you want to keep the water resistance. After getting through the repair, my daughter’s phone is back in action. If you’re comfortable with small parts and don’t mind a slow process, this is a good option to get a phone back up and running.

My brother installed it, and he has no experience with phone repairs, yet we both felt the process was fairly easy. The kit includes everything needed for the installation, even a screen protector, which was a nice bonus. The screen fit well and the touch response works properly. After replacing it, the phone looked almost new. I ended up gifting it to a 12-year-old girl, and seeing how happy she was made it even more worth it. I change my screen all the time but this one has bad Quality & isn’t good at all. Now my screen looks super dull and nothing is vibrant. Everything looks kinda pixie. The screen is also super sensitive so it completely stops working when you put on the case to your phone. Also it doesn’t show the Apple logo when you turn your phone on or off. Nor does it show the charging logo if your phone had died. I Wouldn’t recommend

I must admit I was skeptical that I could replace my cracked iPhone screen for just $30. The Apple store wants $150 and you have to make an appointment. Drive down to the store. Plus you are potentially handing over all of your personal information on your phone to a potential hacker. So with those concerns, I decided to try this option. I am handy fixing all kinds of things so that helps but the recommended Youtube video link that comes with your order confirmation email is very instructive. There are a lot of good tools that come with the screen and kit. It will make the job easier. Remember to power off you phone before installation. You will power the screen back up after you connect it and test it before you close the case. Remeber to power back down before you close/snap your phone back together. Take your time and watch the video before you start and watch while completing each step with good lighting. It doesn't take great skills to complete, patience and following directions is the key. Love the results and I feel the iPhone 6 screen is faster responding than the original. The included and installed screen camera and speaker work great. It was easy to install my original touch button so can't comment on the touch button that came with the screen.

In the video you need to point out the battery connection better. Did not work at first and put the old screen back in…it did not work again either so put the new one back in all three times following video instructions. Phone was working but screen was black. Could hear txt msg coming in and alarm went off but could not turn it off. Finally the battery died and I pushed the power button CS bd the phone needs charger cord plugged in came up on the screen. So thought hey first time an image came up on it so plugged it in typing on it now. Home button still not right and I will have to take it apart again. Yes I would buy this product again, I think it was more of an installation issue than an equipment problem.

good kit, includes everything you need to replace the screen. the instructions were clear and I followed them carefully. I’m very happy with the quality of the screen, the screen looks oem. Colors look good, and thr touch screen works well, I just installed it so,I hope it holds up, but overall,for,23 bucks, you can’t ask for anything more. I install3d this on my iPhone SE 2020

I paid a lot for this and see after getting it installed, it is howing linings. Yes I got it installed very late but what could have I done? They say they will send me video instruction but neither link not QR code is working that they sent me. Yesterday technician installed it for which I had to pay additional and now I have wasted my 6.5k bucks

Came on time and also has a new tempered glass screen guard to out on when your finished. Comes without any home button but I took off my home button from cracked screen and swapped over. Followed a YouTube video how to do it. Easy enough and took me 30-45 minutes to do

the kit arrived on time and was well organized. the screwdriver tips were better than expected (not soft metal). the screen protector is a nice touch.

Absolutely brilliant! I'm quite surprised how good the screen is. Very responsive and smooth to touch. It fitted perfectly on my phone. Although it came with all the other parts like front camera, earpiece and home button, I decided to replace those with the original parts from my phone. So now I have spares in case I ever need them. Excellent product.
