The four layer build is the real difference here compared to thinner single layer ducting. I've used steel ducts and insulated flex duct and then recently tried this. It comes at a better cost than the insulated duct and can even complete easily with solid steel ducts. This is a high quality, easy to work with and kink free duct. I used to route heat from my oil furnace to a new basement room and installation was easy and seems like it will stand the rest of time. Will buy again when I do room number 2

quality of materal is good but watch the length. I got one a few months ago to exaust a fan outsid and during a rain storm a cat tried to get in through it and it fell from the ceiling it was mounted on and the cat freaked out and riped it up. So I got a new one ( ducting not cat ) and want to install it and its 1.5ft shorter. Kinda odd being I just went to my history and hit Buy Again. I had to remount the fan closer to the exit spot. other then cat proof and length issues its a good product.

measure the diameter . I didnt and ended up with an oversize piece of ducting. MY FAULT-tubing was perfect.

Went right in and connected easily. I bought this after a lower quality piece of duct failed, and this did the trick. Well worth the cost and it's handy that it comes with the clamps. Good value.
