I activated the Norton 360 Deluxe software I had purchased, and it actually installed Norton Standard. Not what I purchased, not what it said on the packaging, and not at all what I wanted. I've liked and trusted Norton security software for a very long time, so I have nothing negative to say about the product. I will certainly purchase it again in the future, but next time I'll get it directly from Norton. That way I can be sure I'm getting what I purchased.

NORTON IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH.CUSTOMER SUPPORT IS NONEXISTENT. I HAVE HUNG UP ON THEM TWICE BECAUSE I DIDN'T BELIEVEI WAS ACTUALLY TALKING TO NORTON - I THOUGHT THEY WERE SCAMMING CALLS TO THE REAL NORTON SUPPORT NUMBER - I STILL DON'T KNOW.MY COMPUTER WAS INFECTED WITH SEARCH ALPHA MALWARE - I BOUGHT NORTON DELUXE360 FROM AMAZON AFTER CHECKING WITH BOTH AMAZON AND NORTON TO SEE IF WAS COMPATIBLE WITH THE OPERATING SYSTEM ON MY MAC PRO - BOTH SAID IT WAS. I ORDERED THE SOFTWARE - INSTALLED IT AND IT CLEARED UP MY PROBLEM IMMEDIATELY- WORKED PERFECTLY FOR 6 WEEKS THEN THE ALPHA SEARCH CAME BACK. I CALLED NORTON SUPPORT WHO SAID THE SAME SOFTWARE THAT HAD BEEN WORKING FOR 6 WEEKS DOESN'T WORK ON MY COMPUTER AND SUGGESTED I BUY A $300 VERSION OF SOME PROTECTION SOFTWARE - NO RESOLUTION FOR THE SOFTWARE WORKING AND THEN NOT WORKING.I COULD GO ON AND ON - SUFFICE TO SAY -I COULDN'T BE MORE UNHAPPY WITH NORTON -STAY AWAY

Norton wanted $105 to renew my N360 coverage. Why would anyone do that if you can get the same thing for $25 ? Installation is so easy anyone can do it and takes less than a minute. There is no need for tech support. Just remember that if you are renewing your coverage you must wait until your current subscription expires before you can install this replacement.

I've been using Norton for quite a number of years. Seems to me it does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to install. I ordered the Key Card Version so I have the physical product key in my closet. Years ago I read reviews regarding Norton; i.e. renewal agreements, key card vs download key, magazine articles comparing security suites, etc. Here's the bottom line: Norton 360 Deluxe appears to be a good product; however, it rankles the heck out of me regarding their marketing by means of automatic renewals. They're unclear just enough to make uninitiated users wary of how to purchase the product and how much to spend. Not all users pay the same price for the same product. To make it worse, seems to me those with little understanding or knowledge of what's happening pay the most. Yes, I know many software companies are using the subscription route to software marketing, and many use auto renewal. I find that disturbing. I've been a devoted user for years and I have to guard against Norton walking me into a renewal at a price triple/quad what I can pay just by buying a new subscription -- yes, they call it a subscription. I only own the product for a use period of one year. Then, if I'm not paying attention, they'll hit me with an exorbitant renewal charge. To make matters more dubious, at the end of the subscription, Norton will send you an offer of renewal for actually less than buying a retail new subscription, but includes a prominent disclaimer that it will renew for four times the offer they're dangling in front of you. I couldn't get Norton support to tell me if that was a cancellable subscription or if I was committed to the much, much higher rate a year in the future. So, I went back to my technique of buying a new retail subscription, at the lowest price I could find, because I knew I could then immediately cancel the auto renewal as soon as I had it installed. I have the new Key Card in my possession, then on the day the old subscrption expires, I install the new. What a stupid, stupid process. Apparently, Norton makes more money by this devious/dubious marketing technique than they would by respecting current customers or by pushing annoyed customers to try another product. You have to take care of yourself. Other marketers are using the same technique.

I renewed my Norton subscription for yet another year because I think it is an excellent product for Internet security and antivirus protection. However, the automatic renewal price is always so much more expensive than buying a download or key card [my preference] from Amazon when Norton is on sale. When you buy a download or key card from Amazon, install it and then immediately call Norton customer service and tell them to disable the automatic renewal feature. They will give you a long 'song and dance' about the benefits of automatic renewal but it is all hype. Don't fall for it unless you don't care about saving money on items you buy.

If you are a non-US user, you'll have to install a VPN and connect to a US location before you can activate to use it. You may need to do this occasionally after a few months or weeks.

Hello, I bought the Norton 360 product as a Christmas present for my friend. He could not use it because Norton System could not be loaded. The error message is "Product key code" not registered. I am helping him to contact Norton for help. Will provide feedback after I can load the product into the laptop successfully . Thanks

Does not work in Singapore out of the box due to Norton's region restrictions. Had to spend significant time with support to make it work. Now works as intended but no customer should have to go through such hoops and the product must work out of the box particularly as it is sold on the Amazon.sg platform for use in Singapore.
