Standard shaft but great value performs well too

Added about 20 to 30 yards to my drives and helped straighten the flight.
I recently purchased a GBB driver with a regular shaft because of my slices. This was based on a comment from a trainer because my old driver had a stiff shaft and I sliced it a mile. It didn't help. I ordered this shaft and put it on my driver, learned to swing the club correctly (fixed the face and path), and my drives went from around 210 to pushing 250. I am not saying all my distance came from the shaft but it definitely seemed to help me. From what I understand (and I am not a trainer, just an average golfer) it offers low spin which did cut down on my slices. Note: I am not saying go out and buy this shaft and it will help you hit the ball further and straighter I am saying it did help me. In my opinion get fitted for the shaft you are going to be using because it will absolutely make a difference.

Good shaft, better customer service
This shaft arrived on time and exactly as specified. I swung it in the lab 4x and it didn’t work for my mechanics. I forgot to do a return within the window… called Ryan at oldtown and while he was unwilling to trust me and take the item back and reimburse me… disappointed after 3 years of patronage. BUT, I had a conversation with Ryan and between this and another issue, he went above and beyond and sold me a much nicer, tour grade shaft that fit my playing style after chatting a while, and gave me w 30% discount and then had to eat the shipping costs himself because of my weird address.Old Town has the best prices on select brands on the entire internet, including amazon… and if you take the time to have w conversation without demanding a result you will be rewarded hugely by this small business.

just what i wanted
So i have a Wilson Staff Triton driver, that I had this fitted to, hit one of these on the new Taylormade m5 and was very nice, now have this on my Wilson and works great, not quite as good as the m5 but did improve my Wilson over the old one, came shipped in a hard tube which is nice
