What I was hoping for, and they did not disappoint.Tip: if you have carpet inside your gun case, after about a week, the weight of the gun will pull the carpet away from the wood backing of the safe door (where the carpet is glued). To prevent this, before you Velcro the holster to the door (or inner safe wall, or bottom of shelf), drop 3 short drywall wood screws to tighten the carpet down where you intend the put EACH holster.Process: First, lightly tac the holster in place. Make note of specifically where the Velcro will make contact with the carpet (mark the corners with a sharpie). Then place your 3 screws here: top outside edge, bottom outside edge, and top inside edge. You DON'T screw in the holster, you're just making the carpet tight where the holster will go, to prevent it from pulling away from the door.

I bought these to free up space in my gun safe. I didn't follow the mounting instructions, but instead just used a single screw (supplied) & put it through the back / top at the seam. The screw held them tight and they work very well. I've got full size semi's, compact & revolvers. All fit just fine. I also had an extra that I stuck an extra AR15 30rd magazine in. It held that just fine too. Definitely recommend this product.

If mounting to carpet use the screws if you can get them to drill into the metal. Otherwise I am happy with my purchase.

I originally bought a different brand but they were velcro only and would not stick to the small nap on my carpeted safe door. These have the velcro with a sticky side and screws to hold it to the door and then the holsters have velcro to attach the velcro you attached to the door. Really works nice. The hosters are good and I don't feel they will mar the finish on any of my guns. The barrel end is quite large, but can easily be sewn so make a smaller opening if you want. I just wish they had a pouch on them to store the extra magazine most guns come with. I will probably order more.

Packaging shows using it on carpeted safe, but stamped on the same packaging in big red letters says NOT to use it on carpet. Screws provided are not self tapping. Product is otherwise satisfactory for non-carpet applications.Update:One of the holsters I had mounted to my nightstand with a Sig P365 in it fell to the floor after a week. I reapplied it and it has held for several more weeks now. I also had trouble with holsters applied to bare wood if they had full sized pistols in them. Smaller pistols seem to work fine. I did not screw the sticky part of the velcro to the wood, which was optional.

I really like these these safe door holsters with only one caveat.as you can see on first picture a medium weight 38 revolver caused adhesive to failThat being said use included screws and no worries. after a week still up and no worriesAs far as fitting handguns, holds a bond arms rowdy, keltec p17, taurus g2c, equivelant of kframe revolver, 1911, taurus tx22, baby rock, and actually just about anything i can imagine it will fit

Not very reliable. Used to stick to desk and in my gun cabinet. Lasted about one day. Came home from work and pistols laying on floor. Pistols in gun cabinet fell and scratched my brand new rifle. Broke sight on pistol. The sticky side does not hold for a full size pistol. Would return for refund but have one still holding on. I guess one out of 6 ain’t bad. Will not buy again.

These holsters are far superior to the previous set I had been using. They have a nice WIDE strip of strong Velcro that absolutely clings to the safe door carpet. Holsters are very strong an do not flop around like some other brands. BUY these if you need to store pistols along the inside of your safe door.
