Hi-Lo Passages To Build Reading Comprehension Skills: Grades 3-4 (Hi-Lo Passages To Build Comprehension)

I bought this book for my son to keep him brushed up over the summer. I was so happy I made that decision because sure enough, upon entering 3rd grade the following year, this was the exact type of passages and bubble tests that were given weekly in class. In addition, it helped prepare him for the school's standardized testing. If you are unsure of your child's reading comprehension, I would suggest buying this type of resource. We both enjoyed this book.

These worked really well for some of my struggling readers. I had never had students who skills were this low (6th grade). These interested the kids and they weren't embarrassed reading them because even the good readers thought they were great topics and wanted to read them.

This book is good for the teacher who has multiple levels of ability in the classroom. I searched for this product when I saw a coworker using a book just like this in her classroom to differentiate. I was disappointed when I got this because her book is three times as thick as this one, so I must have ordered the wrong product. However, I will keep this book because it looks like it is a good resource to have!

Really glad I bought this book. The articles and reading response/question pages were interesting for my students, and simple enough for them to be able to read and engage with. Great resources which adds a rich reading experience for my learners.
