Highly impressed w/ this product & couldn't be more pleased! We're even more impressed w/ the fact that the walls & dividers are not cardboard/paper stock! See picture. Rigid, corrugated plastic sheets. Ironically, I would have expected the divider cells to run vertically not horizontally for added strength from above if stacking, but they're still exceptionally strong. Although, w/ the horizontal orientation, they provide added rigidity from bending & deforming from the sides. Great design, none the less... Also, they're SEWN, not merely glued or heat-sealed. Which means they can be legitimately hand WASHED without falling apart!! Just be sure to dry thoroughly in case water gets into the wall/divider cells. Double zippers are smooth & sturdy. The thick fabric pull-tabs sewn to each zipper handle are a really nice touch too. The cup/mug box has handles too, although I haven't "tested" them, as I'd personally rather carry it from the bottom. Needless to day, these will remain sturdy far longer than ANY paper/cardboard-based dish storage set & will protect the contents FAR better than any soft-walled or carboard-walled storage products... Worth noting, but by no means complaints: 1) It would be great to have extra felt dividers in case the plates/saucers are thinner & more than 12 could fit into each storage container. 2) I could find no matching box from this Manufacturer for storing large "Serving Platters" or "Bowls", etc. So I ordered a 2nd set & utilized the rectangular cup/mug box w/o the dividers to store our large platters & bowls... Of course, to fit more or deeper bowls & serving platters, their wine glass box (instead of the cup/mug box) may be better suited. 3) Related to item 1... Including Extra-large felt dividers to protect large serving bowls & platters for storage described in item 2 would have been top notch as well. But simply repurposing some small hand cloths and/or purchasing additional felt sheets & cutting custom sizes is simple enough. To summarize, I cannot realistically imagine a better China Storage solution than this product (especially for the price). Except for, perhaps, something indestructible enough (and thus far more costly) for you to kick your china down your stairs because you're too lazy to carry the storage boxes like a normal person... :-) But realistically, this china storage set has exceeded every expectation we had. The only thing I regret is not purchasing this set long ago, thus having to re-wash all the dishes each time we bring them out from storage... NOW, utilizing our china set for special occasions will no longer mean MORE prep work of washing 60+ pieces of dishware before using them... Now stop debating & order this set. Your china & holiday prep efficiency will both thank you!

Bought several of the highly reviewed options and while they are all decent this brand is above the others and worth the extra spend. The containers are a little better built, a little thicker sides, thicker padding (bought the quilted version), and even the included dividers are a little bigger in coverage. I still picked up thicker plate protectors for higher value dishes, but the ones included were fine! Zippers seem high quality and all around amazing quality and super easy to use. Do yourself a favor and pick these up versus the others. The little extra spent will be worth it.

I'm so happy with these! I purchased these to store my good china to keep them clean and safe in my cabinet. They are high quality and well made. I struggled with the price at first but finally decided to give them a try when they were on sale and I can say they are well worth the money. All of my dishes fit snuggly in the container and the felt protectors were so much better than my previous set that was a plastic foam. I love the hard sides so my dishes feel contained and protected, not just bagged like my old set. The design in neat and sleek with the labels in the front which is helpful since I bought a second set for my grandmother's china. I will be buying a third set for my Christmas china. If you are on the fence, give them a try, they are worth it.

Good Quality, ease of use and zipper quality is good

I am very impressed with this set. This set has a quilted zipper top, sturdy sides, seemed well made, and there was plenty of room to store all my china pieces. I was able to store the creamer and sugar bowl and lid with the tea cups. The saucers and salad plates fit in one container so I was able to put serving bowls in one of the rounds. The container for cups does have side handles, the rounds do not. The felt dividers seem a bit thin, but I believe will provide sufficient protection. There were enough dividers to fit in between each piece. I am so happy to have a safe place to store my china.

This is a good set and comes with felt dividers. Worked as described and the carriers are good quality. My only issue was I’d like to have been able to order the items individually in addition to the set for serving bowls, etc. But I couldn’t find that available with this brand so had to order those from another brand.

I ordered this product because of the rigid frame, as I thought that would be the most protective for my boyfriend's parents' set. The price was reasonable and shipping was quick. The products were packed so sensibly and with thoughtfulness. The units themselves were quite durable. I could only see the zippered area as a point of weakness, but they were positioned in a way they wouldn't be right against the dishes. The units are so durable I was able to stack them in my cabinet. The felt dividers were a huge help, although I was missing two. The cup storage was easy to assemble and held the entire set. I did wish there were smaller sizes for tiny dessert plates and bowls. I just bought another set and put foam sheets as a spacer. I used the second cup storage for all the extra cups we have for the China set. I bought another set for my parents' China! I ordered this one in cream to separate it from his grey set. The labels were very easy to write on and made everything simple, and pretty.

I like the hard shell. This is why I bought the set. I am happy with them. The seams are perfect. There is no cardboard. there zipper has two pulls with long ribbons attached to make it easy. I like that the cup dividers are covered in fabric, and the case seems sturdy. I filled these, and stacked them. No evidence of bulging or sagging. The large round case fits the Lennox Christmas plates, Sakura Christmas plates, and Noritake China plates. I was able to place 14 plates in this. The medium round case fits the Lennox Christmas salad plates, Sakura Christmas salad plates, and Noritake China salad plates. Noritake tea set plates also fit in this. The small round case fits the Sakura Christmas bowls, and Noritake China bowls. The Lennox Christmas bowls do not fit; they are too big. Only 8 Noritake or 7 Sakura bowls fit in this case. The Noritake bread plates also fit in these. The smallest round case fits the Sakura Christmas saucers, the Noritake China saucers, and the Noritake fruit bowls, though only 8 bowls fit. The case for cups holds The Noritake coffee cups and tea cups, and Sakura cups. In fact, I can put 2 Noritake cups in each space, but not the Sakura cups, since the sides on these cups are straight. In conclusion, the small and smallest sizes should be a little taller to accommodate the 12 bowls. The Small case should be a little wider to accommodate the Lennox bowls. The padding is the right amount. The fabric is nice. The canvas seems like it would be easy to keep clean. I prefer Bright colors, but I think the taupe will be less likely to show dirt or to fade. My everyday dishes are BIA Cordon bleu china. The dinner plates, salad plates, and bowls are square, but I do not need to store those. I am not planning to buy square soup bowls again, but I like my square fruit bowls, and small square plates. I also have pasta bowls, which would require a taller case to store. But I am fine storing them with the rest of the BIA Cordon bleu china. in the kitchen. It might be nice to have more flexibility to order different sizes together. Like a set with 1 large, 2 medium, 2 small, and 2 smallest. That's because I have extra pieces other than the standard dinner plate, salad plate, bowl, cup, and saucer. I also have tea service plates, extra tea cups (shaped differently than the coffee cup, they fit in a little indentation in the tea service plate), bread plates, fruit bowls, and butter plates.

Good quality, well made storage for fragile dishes.

Needed to box up safely a full diner service. I also had the tea service to match. After searching all appropriate outlets I hoped I’d found what I needed on Amazon. There were a few products designed & made by different manufacturers. I read all the reviews & decided to purchase Homelux. Due to recent tarif changes I thought when ordering I may wait longer than the norm. The delivery was reasonably quick. I asked family members to help with the task, ages ranging from adults, teenagers & children 12yrs to 7yrs plus 1elderly person. We all were able to put together the different boxes without any difficulty. Each storage box was able to house most of what precious china needed to be placed in. The added felt dividers were fine in separated plate, saucer use etc. The young persons also learnt table etiquette which they found fascinating as not always used in this modern time. They found were the salt dish sat to where they sat was so funny. I told them it was very old fashioned ideas I did need to purchase different storage boxes for tea pots, water jug etc. water glasses though easily popped into the cup & mug box. I found that the storage boxes were strong in the didn’t need support along sides, the zips worked well. The only thing of note not all had labels to write contents on. I would definitely recommend this product. Easy to purchase from Amazon with good descriptions of what the product is, slightly pricey but you get what you pay for. Good storage protection for china to pass on to family who will use the china on special family times & able to store in a safe manner when not in use. I would highly recommend as I believe this storage product is worth paying for & will last if kept respecting the product for many years.

Are there more pieces to be purchased? For soups, veggie bowls and platters, etc.?

This holds my 8 place settings. I did have to use the flatter separated unit to store both the cups and soup bowls but it has worked out. I am really happy since I needed to pack away expensive good china while my house is being renovated. The package arrived very late and when I contacted the shipper they maintained they did not have a shipment matching the number - that was a panic for me --- but in the end here it is! I am happy :)

I liked the round cases, and they have lots of room inside The cup/casserole holder isn’t that safe as cups needed extra padding I wish they included soft foam to wrap around the outside edges of the dishes to give extra security, but I’ll go find some. The containers are nice, but I can’t imagine that the price is justified.
