They fold very easily with a memory-metal type bridge so they spring out to the proper shape every time. the plastic case does not scratch the lenses in storage, which is very nice (there is a brand with a case that has a metal size that scratches the lenses). They are very lightweight, and the nose pads are made of silicone, so they are able to hold onto the nose pretty well. The case has a double-side tape for sticking it onto the back of a phone, if you want to carry a pair with the phone. The glasses will not accidentally slide out of the case, and are very secure. The lenses are of a relatively soft plastic, and can easily be scratched. Be careful when cleaning the lenses and when putting them down. Try to place them in their case when not in use.

First, these glasses are small and they fit at the top of your nose and are very light. You have to use friction to keep them on but that is not an issue for short-term use. I use them to read messages on my phone, menus in restaurants and as a back-up if I forget my regular reading glasses. The clarity of these little lenses is amazing and are actually clearer than most of the reading glasses I have bought in pharmacies and grocery stores. After I received the first one, I was so impressed that I ordered several more to keep in the cars and key spots around the house. I have had no issues with scratches removing and returning the lenses into their hard, plastic case. The case has an adhesive pad but the plastic case did not work with my particular phone case. Instead, I carry them in my pocket and am barely aware that they are there. Please note that these are best used as short term readers and not in place of reading glasses for books, newspapers and such.

I like to read in bed but have a hard time lying on my back so I read on my side. I tried these ThinOptics but they don't stay on my nose so I thought I'd put nosepads on them that I bought for a different pair of glasses and now they stay on while I'm both upright and lying on my side. I put the adhesive-backed nosepads (from Amazon) on the glasses, then stuck them in the microwave for less than a minute and so far the pads are staying put. So lo and behold! I look forward to falling asleep reading in bed. This works for me especially since I don't use the little case that came with it. That thing seems like it would scratch the lenses. The nosepads are an added cost but that way I'll use the glasses for what I need instead of throwing them in the junk drawer. Hope this helps.
