I was impressed with how easy this HDMI extender was to set up. Just plug one unit near the source and the other near the display, connect them with a Cat6 cable, and it’s ready to go—no extra configuration needed. The picture quality is sharp at 1080p/60Hz with no noticeable lag or dropouts, even during fast-moving scenes. Audio transfers cleanly as well. I tested it with both Cat5e and Cat6 cables; Cat6 definitely gives more stability over longer distances, but both worked well within a moderate run. This is a great solution for sending video to another room without running a bulky HDMI cable through walls. Overall, reliable performance, easy setup, and solid build quality. Perfect for home theater setups, presentations, or extending a gaming console/PC feed to another room. Highly recommend if you need a dependable HDMI-over-Cat solution.

Worked perfectly. I didn't realize it only had one power source. I think it powered the other unit via POE (Power Over Ethernet). Everything worked instantly. Would buy again.

I was initially impressed with this product, but noticed that when trying to turn off my TV with the remote or the hard button on the TV, the TV would keep turning it's self back on. Unplugged the HDMI cable from the Extender, and it stopped happening. Tried changing the setting from 50 Meter to 30 M (as recommended by the seller in an email sent to me after I purchased the item, warning of"...we are very concerned about the use of your product...) I recently purchased this in order to hook up an HDMI camcorder to a switcher from the second floor of my house. The first one I received would not work. The transmitter was getting power and lighting up. The receiver was not getting any power and not lighting up. I tried several different HDMI cables, as well as different Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables with no luck. When I initially opened the box I noticed something out of the ordinary. The power cable included was not wrapped with any kind of twist tie. Any device I've ever purchased with cables has always had them wrapped and secured in some way. This leads me to believe someone else ordered this and returned it because it wasn't working. I sent it back and opted for a replacement. The second one works as it should. The power cable on this one was wrapped a secured with a twist tie. Overall, I think this is a great little device. I deducted a star due to initially receiving defective/used unit.

I have a security camera set up for 8 cameras. The camera DVR outputs a 1080 video signal, I use a HDMI 1 to 2 splitter to send picture to local 4K TV and to this Extender then using 100 feet of cat 6 cable for a 4K TV in another room. Install was simple. No power connection needed by the receiver. I had a old splitter/extender that always need fussing with... it had a set of dip switches that had to be set which worked for a while then needed to reset the switches because of signal loss. Also had to keep changing the TVs settings for picture type... movie or standard or what ever to get the picture to sync. Well finally after a thunderstorm that old one stopped working and needed to be replaced. This HDMI extender is the replacement and it works without fuss or muss, plug everything in and it works, no dip switches, no changing the TV's picture mode. I can't say anything about the EDID copy function since I didn't need to do that.

I used this extender for an output from laptop to 75” TV. There is approximately 200 feet between the laptop and my TV. Ran CAT6 cable between the two devices. Has works perfectly now for a couple of years.

Good for my Xbox and ps4 . Great connectivity and good sound quality.
