Great fit worked fine . But head gasket was already blown

Used it for my 2013 audi a4. The OEM one had a blow out right by the gasket, shame that they’re all plastic. I compared this one versus the OEM model and I can’t believe that they’re even come in plastic! The fault would have never happened if the construction was made like this one. It came with all of the correct parts and fit perfectly into the spot of the old one. Mind you I only did this last night but as far as fit and finish, it is improved to the OEM. No seeping, leaks, or weird noises. Functions well! I’ll be coming back and updating this if it fails

The water pump had failed on the Audi Q5 and I ordered this aftermarket part to replace the OE after 120000 miles. This water pump fit perfectly, installed easily and there have been zero issues after 20,000 miles so far. No leakage at all. The water pump also seems to be more durable than the plastic OE that came with the Audi. Great value compared to OE.

I haven't had any issues with the water pump except I lost my first one due to the belt disintegrating. It appeared as though the belt wasn't heat resistant enough and got cooked. After the belt failed (about 500 miles) everything overheated and smoked all the seals in the water pump. Ordered another kit and used an overpriced OEM belt (could tell the quality difference instantly, but the belt is almost as much as this whole kit) and haven't had any issues since (5k miles). Don't use the belt, get an OEM one due to the amount of work to replace it and the potential catastrophic engine damage.

Update:: I just installed a URO brand union piece, new gasket and O-rings at the water pump and now the system appears to hold pressure. Guess we’ll see if those new parts hold up . The URO union piece was thicker in diameter in the center compared to the one supplied with the pump as well. Purchased this WP a few months back and got it installed without issue. Everything seemed to be good and fit well. Now a few months later it is leaking at the union piece that they provide with the kit. May need to upgrade the o-rings to prevent this but like a lot of others now I will have to spend 4hrs to do this job again. I have done WP on other VW’s and used higher quality parts and had no issues or leaks. Guess a lesson has been learned here. Cheap parts be prepared to do the job twice. :(

Nice aluminum replacement for the factory plastic water pump on my 2012 Audi A4 Quattro with the 2.0T CAEB engine. It's been about 8,000 miles since the change and not a drop of precious purple coolant has been spilled.
