Can you answer phonecalls?

What you can do is answer the call on your phone like you always do but you can actually listen to the caller by connecting the blue tooth speaker to your phone. So you would speak into the phone but the person can be heard on the speaker. Great if you're placing a call where others want to hear or speak to the person on the other end, Like when kids are calling their grandparents.

About 12 ft - after that especially if there is a wall in the way it does tend to go in and out a bit. But up to the 12 ft even with a door or wall in the way it's fine! Hope this helps?

what is the wattage power of the speakers?

Great question. I’m not really sure but this mini speaker packs a lot of robust Bose sound. It’s powerful enough to fill a room with music but if you’re having a party of any sort, the people talking and laughing in a big room would drown it out. Itnots great at the pool and even gives a nice sound at the beach which is an open area. I was pleasantly surprised when I took it to the beach and I was able to hear my music even over other music playing around me. I take it everywhere.
