First of all. Great hat for the price. The only thing that gets me is that the hat is too square in structure (veeery steep profile) and too tall for my head (high crown). I have a large-ish noggin, but I never thought my head to be short comparatively. If I were to wear this hat bottomed out on the top of my head, I'd have to lower my ears.I gave it a good amount of time (a few months) to hopefully relax and lose some of its structure, but no matter how hard I tried it won't - which honestly, is a good thing if it were to be perfect to my head. Hot/almost boiling water, dishwasher, etc... no change but a slight loosening of the structure. It might have been the construction tolerances were perfect for it to not be a good fit for me, but overall it doesn't quite sit well for my bulbous gourd of a head...But I digress. Conflicting evidence aside, for the price and construction it is a very good hat...I honestly would buy again.

It's a good black cap. Under the bill and the fitted band are also black. The fitted band is quality made. It fits snug without pulling my hair or giving me a headache. Some caps stop really high up on my head, almost near my temples. I have always called the shorter fitting "baseball caps" and the ones that fit my entire head and stop right above my ears a "baseball hat". Whatever you call them, this is a larger fitting cap/hat.I was most impressed with Amazon and my local UPS working together on this purchase. I ordered it on a Tuesday, so delivery was scheduled for Thursday. This hat showed up on my doorstep less than 24 hours from when I ordered it and the roads where covered with ice that day. That was impressive!The reviews is why I choose this hat over the dozen or so other plain black hats. The reviewers stated that the hat is quality and the delivery was extra fast. I have to agree!

So ive ordered i think six different hats made by decky. Most of them were 7 1/2 and one 7 5/8 and another 7 3/8. The 7 1/2 were all different in size an only one of them being a true 7 1/2. They are good quality hats if you can get one that is your size. That being said i can only wear two of them and for the amount that i spent i could of gotten two sport logo fitted hats that are actual size. Shipped fast and would buy them if sizing issues were fixed.

I bought some hats in a swapmeet, like 3 for $10. Thought I got a deal but once home, on closer inspection, the hats were all weirdly shaped. On one of the hats, the bill was loop sided. So I had to buy new hats but didnt want to spend much. I saw these and saw the great reviews for the price. Its not 3 for $10 price range, but way cheaper than the ones they sell at the malls.The fit is exact, I got 7 3/8 and love the fit. The front is a bit boxy but will mold with time. Hat looks great and good quality. Definitely will be buying more in different color.

The color is a lot lighter then what the picture shows. I expected a dark teal. Also the front looks a little funny. It almost flares out. The pic doesn't look as bad as it does in person. It will be ok to wear backwards. And it is a cheap hat, in price. It's the only one I've bought and it was kind of a test to see the quality. So maybe other ones are cut a little better. The back also seems a little poofy but not noticable enough to look weird. Size around was good tho.

The fit was tighter than other hats I own of the same size. More importantly, when I ironed a patch onto the front of the hat, the white part on the inside front of the hat melted through. I would consider this a major problem for blank ballcaps because that is probably a a very common usage of them (Ironing your own logo on the front).

Look these hats are nice IF you get one that is actually made right. I got spoiled and had 2 that were perfection, almost every other one I have bought since has a defect. Usually its the brim sewn crooked or the front seem being off center. Amazon sometimes lets me keep the crappy ones and I use them for work or when I know ill blow it out sweating.

Been wearing this hat every day for almost 2 years! Has kept its shap and I don't particularly take care of hats like some people do but it's still held up way better than any New Era hat I've ever had!
