Great purchase for the money! Purchased for use in a Bioethics class and could not be more pleased with my purchase. Amazon is the way to go in order to avoid the outrageous prices of my college's bookstore. I would highly recommend this text. It's well written and very interesting as it contains case studies which provide the basis of very thought provoking dicussions in the course I am currently enrolled in.

Veatch et al. have collected a wide variety of cases that provoke both discussion and disagreement. He tries to present both sides of the issue. Provocative cases and excelleont commentary.

GREAT BIOMED ETHICS BOOK, absolutely enjoy it. I'm a pre-Nursing student so educating myself about all these case studies on ethical/moral issues occurring in the health care field is a great way to learn more about our healthcare system along with human morality.

This book was an easy read and applicable to more than just the medical field. It was practical as well as philosophical and will be influential in my choices when I become a psychologist.
