great book that served me well, I carry it with me all the time and when I have to find the definition of a code I just open my book and there it is, very clear and concise information about trouble codes in cars computers, I have not found one code that the book can not tell me the definition, I will buy one more book to have it as a spare because in my job is a must (I am automotive mechanic/ technician) highly recommended to own this book. firs time I used the book i realize that the book it paid by itself. thank you.

Great for the apocalypse
Bought it so that we can still work on old Fords when society breaks down. Very thorough.

The Haynes computer codes & electronic engine management systems
My husband is a mechanic and he used this book for his truck. It has all kinds of information to help diagnose his truck. Great manual for do it yourself people who understand the working parts of the motor.

A very interesting book to have
A very interesting book to have-for the serious minded and for those aspiring to be its bases are very straight forward, also for those who may not have certain experience but are willing to try and do the job themselves provided they do it with care. Great value for money

NOT for OBDII
I was ordering a obdii scanner and this book came up as a suggestion. I thought, cool... this might be helpful. Wrong. While the book may be a good book, I am giving it the rank I am because neither the amazon description nor the depicted book cover states that this book is only good for 1981-1995 vehicles, pre-obdii. My oldest is a 1998. I saw nothing at the time of order or at the time of this review that stated that, though the cover on the book that I received clearly states it's only for pre-obdii era vehicles. Shame on me for not doing exhaustive research for a little book, but shame on amazon for a lousy description. I have since purchased OBD-II & ELECTRONIC ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS TECHBOOK (Haynes Techbook) instead.Once I received this book it appeared to be a good book, so I gave it to a co-worker rather than returning it.

Good Product, Good Service, Good Price, And Quick Shipping.A little hard to read the display with the blue backlite and the dim screen, but is full of the latest technology and easy to clear codes. .A ,amachine like this used to cost 2000 to 3000 dollars, so this one os a real bargain.
