Do you need a cable to connect to a speaker or amp if so can you recommend?

Yes you need a cable. We had one that came with an electric guitar amp/speaker so it simply plugs into there. My son loves it.

I have one of the screws that hold the sound pad for bass kick pedal has gone missing, where would i be able to get another?

I would suggest contacting Carlsbro customer service or if there us another screw still intact within the kit take it out and try good hardware store.

How long is the first assemble out of the box? Im going to need to build it when my son goes to bed on Christmas eve!

This only takes around 20-30 minutes to assemble straight out of the box

Just received these and space is of a premium. Can I set these up in front of a radiator?

As long as it is not too close to the radiator then it should be okay, be careful of all of the wires.
