excellent recipes but wtf is 'crazy salt'
I love this book but I had to look up what "crazy salt" is! I'm a professional chef and I was like "what is the author talking about, I don't see it referenced ANYWHERE-" and it was really starting to FRUSTRATE ME. For the curious: "Crazy Salt is a blend of coarse salt, paprika, rosemary, pink berries and cayenne pepper. It is a speciality of Guérande and the Ile de Ré. The blend boasts a slightly smoky, spicy flavour that particularly complements red and white meats and pan-fried vegetables."

Simple and delicious recipes
Although this book focuses on bento box lunches, there should be nothing stopping you from using these delicious recipes for dinner! Just increase the volume of ingredients. In addition to a very large number of great recipes, the author includes many handy tips on organization and ingredients. Highly recommended!

Great bento for first timers
Easy to follow and nice pictures. Update: I've made a few recipes and they are yummy! The picture has the carrot pancakes and it's yum!!! Not only that but simple, fast, and easy! Getting more bentos so I can make lunches every day.

Easy and adventurous
This book helps make bento fast and easy and helped me try new ingredients I have never tried before. The recipes can be bold or subtle but so far, all a hit, and so many packed into so few pages! The colour photos are delightful. The author is relatable, and their tips and tricks for quick bento ideas mean making my lunches is faster and more purposeful at the same time. I'm so happy I picked this book up!

Amazing Cookbook for Bento
This is an amazing book. It actually has provided a meal plan with proper proportions for each meal. I love this book. Definitely recommend.

Worth the price!
Very good book. Highly recommended for beginners and intermediates, who like to explore the world of bento. The books has colored pictures, good recipes that are easy to follow, there superb pictures of finished products, and the author isn't selfish in sharing her knowledge about making bento.
