Although fire bricks are not cheap, this was a great value. The quality of these bricks was equivalent to the OEM bricks that came with my Enviro Boston 1700 insert. Perfect fit and well worth the price.

These bricks are in no way fit for forging. They will crack and literally melt into liquid and destroy your forge floor. They are very porous and look like concrete. They are best used for low temp lining.

Relined my woodstove with these. Easy to fit, can cut with a coarse hacksaw blade. A cheap diamond holesaw was used to cut holes for the air supply pipes. Hoping they last as long as OEM.

Good set of fire bricks for home use in stoves and fireplaces. There was no temp rating on the listing for this product so I ordered it for use in a forge. I put one in a gas forge to see how it would react to 2600 degree temps. In short it turned to glass. (See Pic) I would recommend for home use but no industrial or maker applications requiring higher heats. Not suitable for Forges or kilns above 2k degrees. The brick composition seemed good and as with all firebricks they are somewhat fragile but porous enough to work well with refractory cements.

I lined my wood stove with for extra warmth this winter and they are wonderful .

These things are awesome. They packaged them securely. Except that some of the people who deliver for Amazon apparently have no concept of which way a gate swings, nor understands the concept that you don't put packages in front of, or behind the gate, but next tooooo. Other than that these bricks are solid! Great product. I put them in my woodstove and I can tell a huge difference. Like I said the were packaged correctly. Now I did have a few damaged bricks which was mitigated with the highest satisfaction from the company I purchased from. I will order from them again. They reason they were damaged was because the delivery driver set them in front of our gate in the direction that the gate opens. So when I walk down the driveway and my sensor opens the gate it smashed the package and damaged my gate. Amazon did offer me a $5 coupon.

Not what I saw in the product photos. I received the hard dense fire brick. I wanted the same as I had b4. In my photo is what was recieved, and the old broken pieces are alot like the pictures in this product photos. Soft, lightweight and easy to cut. But not these thing they sent me. U tell me. They did come well backed although As dense as these things are I'm betting they wouldnt crack. These newer stoves need the porous lightweight bricks. I'm only keeping these ones for workshop kiln . But I wish u would fix ur photos cause this isnt what ur product description or pictures show here. Look at mine.
