Just like many of the reviews here, I was very happy with this purchase initially until I needed to replace the filter. 3x now I've had to throw a filter away after a few days because it became clogged, water would not pass through! I am going to try a few of the suggestions to unclog the one that's in it now, but HONESTLY, where is the MANUFACTURER'S EXPLANATION?? If this is indeed a problem, why aren't they fixing it??? LEVOIT - where is YOUR SOLUTION????UPDATE: I pulled filter out and shook it like crazy, and now it's working. Water tastes great, btw.

Like many others, I really like the taste of Levoit filter system. Since filters are not available, I purchased Brita, which water tastes same as unfiltered facet water. Please bring them back!

This water filter pitcher is the absolute bomb! 5-STARS ALL THE WAY! Our water where I live is of very poor quality. Smells and is actually undrinkable in my opinion. This filter system takes all of it out! And, I like how you can move the speed of the filtering. I watched a youtube video on how to put this together, which I would highly recommend. You need to submerge the filter, take caps off the bottom, etc. I also bought the extra 3-pack of filters on Amazon. SO worth it! STOP BUYING BOTTLED WATER AND BUY THIS PRODUCT! Get a quality BPA-free sports bottle to take everywhere with you and just refill it with this water. I'm beyond happy with this product!

The filter cligs faster if there are a lot of particulates in your tap water. You xan make the filter last longer by pre-filtering the tap water through a coffee filter. There are a lot of particulates in my tap water and this helps a lot. What's interesting is that it the water is still clearer and better tasting after runnung it through the Levoit filter.You can also extend the life of the filter by shaking it. This redistributes the filtering material. My filters last a lot longer now.

Filter is great when it works. I got a batch that consistently plugged and required shaking to get "flow" to return, even with the caps off. I contacted customer service and they replaced all the bad filters. Wonderful customer service. Too bad every company doesn't back their products and take care of customers like Levoit.

These filters make city water taste like it came for a cold, fresh well!

I purchased a Aigostar water pitcher several months ago and for last couple of months I have been trying to buy their replacement filters which are absolutely no where to be found. Figured I would try these Levoit replacement filters to see if they were compatible. They fit perfectly and actually work better than the Aigostar filters. Plus, they are cheaper and I had no issues ordering them. Will be buying again

I actually didn't buy this to make drinking water. I bought it for a house full of finicky plants that need bottled water because the water in my city has too many chemicals that hurt plants, although fine for humans. And after a while I was going crazy bringing jugs of water home. So I decided to try this and it must be doing a really good job cleaning the water because I haven't had any problems with any plants! They are all growing well with none of the issues I had when I was using tap water. So I'd say this filtration system is great!

I bought the Levoit pitcher last March. They have since discontinued making them and the filters but they are still selling the pitchers with 1 filter that lasts 2 months. After that you can't get anymore filters. I guess they're trying to get rid of the stock that's left. If I could I'd return it. DON'T BUY IT!!!

While I love the Levoit decanter these are used in, they often come with one that is blocked and there goes your money down the drain. The water tastes great when they do work and the decanter is well made, so it is a little bit of a give and take and hope that they all work.
