These are so much fun! Very helpful and easy to use. They are missing some stuff and don't have enough of some items. I would request they come up with an outdoor sheet. That way they could includes barbecue grills, a couple extra dishwashers, mini refrigerators, more stools, hot tub, pools, more shrubs, fences, brick walls, trampoline, different sized seating.... For the inside of the house - missing French Door sized fridge, Murphy bed, office couch, padded bench, solar tubes, home water filtration system. This packet had everything we needed to execute our overall design plan to the contractors and eventually architects. We easily made it work with what they provided, just would like some of the pieces mentioned above. I'd recommend buying 8:1 sheets of traceable graph paper to use instead of the sheet provided. It works, but the 4:1 radio makes it harder to be really accurate, plus then you can draw your lines with a ruler and save a ton of time by not using the stickers for that part of your project.

Very nice kit. Had architectural features including: bifold doors, windows, patio doors, doors with swing arcs, solid walls, half walls, etc. There are many sizes and varieties of furniture. You peel off the furniture pieces and they stick on a graph grid. The glue is pretty sticky so it takes a bit to peel them off, but that was the only very minor issue. I'm sure as the pieces are re-used, they'll be easier to manage. Kit was exactly what I needed - had everything in it and was priced reasonably. Very useful if you are redecorating or moving.

I was forced into buying this for one of my classes, but I ended up having a lot of fun with it. It’s a pretty cool book there stickers and you can design your own rooms. There’s a lot of different furniture things you can do and it’s pretty neat

This set came in handy for a client of mine who did not want to wait for drawings. My client had been in the construction field for 30 years and was newly retired, he knew what he wanted and used the stickers as a basic shopping list for me. We basically came up with a great floorplan over dinner! This set comes with several sheets of modern iconic funishings, fixtures and symbols sticker sheets. The stickum on the back was not very tacky and we used additional glue with it. For the price, it is what it is. Fun and quaint. We had a great time using it together! P.S. It comes with a nice floor plan grid.

Not a child's toy. I believe the rating, "ages 7 and up", a regrettable and sloppy oversight. That factor alone nearly persuaded me to not purchase the item. Yes, it is great for teens, and young aspiring future architects - offering an inexpensive, practical tool in a setting where CAD would be an inappropriate expense. In my design business, yes, we have CAD. But when making presentations, I find it a most approachable and helpful tool. Out in the open, it allows discussion and quick changes. For my customers, it fosters a hands-on experience. It renders a sharp appearance, and is simple to copy as it can be turned over without the pieces shifting and falling off which often happens with the more expensive magnetic boards. My only criticism - it could be updated to include a wider range of furnishing, especially upholstery options that offer the various depths we are seeing in today's more customizable furniture environment. And for that, I would gladly pay an upcharge, or, purchase supplements. I see no other supplements available. I am seriously considering the purchase of multiple sets however.

It arrived last night and i couldn't wait to get started. I already had a mock floor plan etched out on paper, so when it came in the hard work was done. This took my simple graph and made it so impressive. It also reveiled the major errors in my original plans. It explains things like stairs and such. I realize that I had too many steps and they took up much more space than necessary. Also things like the thickness of the walls, its hard to take that into account on paper. It also gives ideas for small bathrooms and closet space. It talks about the minimum width you need for hallways. I would recommend this to anyone who is ocd...lol. the only thing annoying is it has many kitchen tables, several are the same exact size which doesn't make sense. Why would I have two kitchen table of the same size. But only one queen size bed when most people have at least 2 bedrooms with queen size beds. But this is a very minor detail. But like I already stated, I'm OCD!

EXCELLENT IDEA! It would get more stars if it were priced accordingly to what I received OR if the product were sturdy in any sense. These are too thin and flimsy to withstand multiple movements. I will be returning this as I can't use it. I can't read the printing on the elements without using a magnifying glass or taking pictures with my cell phone, going into the Gallery on the phone and enlarging it on the screen. I work regularly with 1/4" = 1 ft scale, so that's not the issue, but it is definitely a negative in accumulation with the rest of the items in this package. In my opinion, this product nowhere near worth the price I paid of $27. This is a collection of seven sheets folded into cardstock "cover" printed with examples and industry standard placement measurements (those are definitely a plus!), slipped into flimsy zippered bag with a piece of plain old cardboard inserted for stability for shipping. The plastic bag does have a potentially useful grid printed on it, but you would have to insert a white cardboard or matboard similar in order to make it useful. I just expected something that will last - at least put it in something like a shallow chipboard box so we can store it. The plastic envelope is useless as is the printed cardstock folded around the sheets. It's not even useful like a cardstock folder that has pockets to keep the contents from slipping out - this is merely folded in half. There are innumerable useful images to use, but accessing and placing and repositioning them is too frustrating for me as these are thin like thin decals - not even vinyl sticker depth. When I read the description of 'peel and stick' reusable, I assumed a hearty flexible plastic like the original Colorforms which did and would still withstand PEELING AND STICKING relentlessly. These won't hold up with repositioning multiple times. The flimsy paper grid sheet is FOLDED in fourths and I really, really, really don't like that. Better to ship in huge flat chipboard envelope or ROLLED UP. If I don't return this, I will cut that along the fold lines and attach to a substantial underlayment. Otherwise, it won't stay flat because of the creases and it will wrinkle quite easily without permanent support. I know it's assumed to be used on a table or desk, but if you want to move it or even put it away, there's more manipulation of the flimsy products.

This was almost perfect for what we were looking for -- which was to lay out the furniture placement for home we are building. We had our floor plans in the scale of 1/4" =1' (be sure you have your drawings in this scale - otherwise the product is basically useless for this purpose) and simply peeled them off and placed the images of the furniture on our floorplan. The floorplans were in the form of blueprints that we received from our architect. The stickers were able to stick well enough to stay put on the drawings -- although I think with repeated removal and replacement, the adhesion might be reduced to the point where you would need to hold the stickers with tape. My wife found them very useful to get a feel for not only how we could/would arrange our furniture but also to get a real sense of the size of the rooms etc. She does not have the ability/aptitude to mentally convert the architectural drawings into a picture of what the rooms will look like when completed -- and this really helped her to vizualize and understand what the rooms would look like when furnished - and also to determine where we would need additional furniture. Only significant issue was that there were not enough bed stickers - only one queen size bed sticker and I think, only one king size. Would have been great to have had 2 (or more) of each as we will have 2 queen size beds in the house. Otherwise, was easy to use and very useful.

Really enjoy using this for planning a renovation. Saves me having to continually re-write plans on a piece of graphic lined paper.

Very helpful for trying out room layouts without the heavy lifting!

Recently renovated our entire house and replaced all the furniture. This product was indispensable for planning and layout of cabinets in the kitchen and furniture in all the rooms.
