Tasty!
As an American, I'd only heard if this product on social media. I can't explain it, but I was craving it without ever having tasted it. I was not disappointed. The flavor reminds me of an intense sweet relish with a strong umami flavor. I've used it in tuna salad and egg salad, and a few other things that were recommended by my UK friends. 10/10

I did not like the taste of this at all. I put this on some crackers, and it has a bitter taste that I really didn't like. I'm sorry Paul McCartney but you can keep your Branston.

My favorite pickle by far, for me a cheese sandwich doesn’t really work without it. Great taste a bit of crunch and hmmmm!

Very tasty UK pickle product
We were intrigued by a cheese and pickle sandwich on a BBC show (Endeavor). After research, we decided to purchase this product which was recommended. Now we are enjoying cheese and pickle sandwiches... in fact, we have ordered Branston more than once.

Received open jar!!
I was so excited to try this and was glad that the jar wasn’t broken like how some people received theirs in other reviews but the top of the lid was already popped and the lid was barely screwed on. I’m not risking my health to eat out of an OPEN jar that’s supposed to be securely sealed/brand new. There’s no returns on this item but to get an opened jar is bad business and absolutely ridiculous. I’m out the money and not happy!! If I could I’d give NO stars…

It's the Real Deal for the Sandwich
As a Yankee from the midwest, I had no idea what this stuff was until a few shows on PBS and Britbox finally got me curious with references to the Cheese and Pickle sandwich. It took a few sandwiches to get the mix just right, but this is now my third jar. The stuff is an umami mouthful and really does work with a coarse bread and a mildish cheddar or American cheese. If you've not tried it, do so. Don't let the price move you away from an adventure.
