Could you use this to repair a loom rattan seat ?

We have used it to repair the legs on rattan chairs. Not sure if it would be strong enough for an actual seat

Is this completely natural as i wish to use it to make rabbit enrichment toys? Ty x

It does appear natural, however I would not be certain it has not been dyed/coloured

Can I crochet with this?

I haven't tried it as crochet hook 's quite bulky so I use a wide eyed needle and the material stays in tact during process raffia work is ancient and I think those folk arrived at best solution, weave it I dont think thick crochet hook would slip through the underlying rows there just isn't toom so a needle.

Would this be safe to weave round a light shade?

I would imagine so - modern low wattage bulbs do not give off too much heat
