Would you recommend this case for plane travel? Even international? Feels like I would be carrying a bomb tbh because of the looks

It is solid. I am a teacher and use it as a secure way of bringing it to school for our esports club. It had places where a lock can be attached and is quite secure. I definitely recommend for travel of any kind.

What type of plastic is the case made of?

The case is prety tuff ,we stack everything on top of them when we travel . Not as good as a pelican but still very solid .
