Ultimate Meat Kit by Sandy Leaf Farm - Make Bacon, Jerky, Biltong, Kebabs

The variety of recipes to try made this a really fun kit. Apart from the meat, everything you need is supplied in the box, so you don't need to go looking for extra bowls/tools/spices. The recipes all work and taste the way you would expect the meats to taste if you had bought them pre prepared which is very satisfying. Success in the first few recipes gave me the confidence and motivation to try the rest and I was not disappointed.

Hi, the pack I got was lovely. The only issue I have was the fact that Amazon had not packed the item further. They had stuck the delivery label to the outside of the box, which is lovely! and also damaged the box slightly on one corner. Had my husband answered the door instead of my son his birthday surprise would have been a little spoilt. Other than those minor issues, the pack itself is lovely, and went down well as a gift. So far we have made one Donner Kebab, and spices left to make another 2 I guess, taste was fabulous! Instructions easy to follow too! I contacted Sandy Leaf Farm about the issues with packing and even though it really isn't their fault, I got a response very fast, and very apologetic, offering me a free product as compensation. You cant get better than that in my opinion. Highly recommended, and will return for more gifts in the future!

A few years ago this was bought as a secret Santa gift, it has since completely ruined our family and we no longer speak, however this is an amazing Christmas gift or a gift for any occasion and everyone since then has said they would love the gift so I can only assume the ungrateful receiver in secret Santa was the only one. Definitely buy.

A fabulous set of seasoning and curing spices and accessories, that will keep me occupied for a while. The curing kits for bacon take time (days) to complete and that is NOT a complaint. As I write the Pancetta is about to progress to the air drying stage and the cubed lamb fillets for the shish kebabs are beginning to absorb the spices overnight ready for tomorrow. This is a craftsman or artisan kit for meat* preparation, ideal as the weather warms and we cope with enforced outside eating, and hopefully a free summer of al fresco dining. *I bought my son a set and he has had success with adapting some of the processes for fish.

A lot of money for such a small gift. Thought it would of been bigger. Disappointed brought someone for Christmas just hope they like it. Overall just not very satisfied..

I bought 2 of these, one for my husband and one for my brother in law. Was a little disappointed by the size of the box but they have enjoyed creating their own spicy meats

Bought for dad who was interested in trying to smoke meat. He loved it.

Bought it for a Christmas gift for my son-in-law. He loves to cook and barbecue and make his own recipes so I thought this would be something fun for him to do.

Disappointed with the size of the kit. You have to really dig to find it only does a pound of meat per recipe. No returns offered. Lots of fluff little substance. Very disappointing.
