I saw the Mojave Cactus cooler in a friend’s collection of equipment on a fishing trip and I had to give it a second look. Unlike a lot of products that seem great at first but end up having problems with practical applications, the Cactus cooler is as smart on the inside as it is on the outside. It’s the right combination of a sturdy cooler and carry bag with some welcome give to it. I ordered the cooler in blue (it's a shark-like gray with accents in blue, green, orange or pink that jump out at you when you strip off the plastic wrapper) just before July 4th and “test-flighted” it on a trip to Pittsburgh. We dumped all sorts of travel snacks and drinks into it and there was still room for more.Two specific comments, in addition to the basic understanding that yes, this thing stays cold for a long time, especially if you drop in an extra cold pack or zip-loc bag of ice: first, there are a lot of thoughtful extras in the design – like pockets, straps, loops and, yes, a magnetized front panel so you’ll never lose that opener again. Second, when you first get your cooler, you’re going to think “dear lord…how am I ever going to get this thing open?” because of the extremely tight zipper closure. DON’T PANIC – apply the zipper lube as instructed and it loosens up with each use. I figure, I’d much rather have something with a seal that means business than with something that feels as if it might pop open while you’re carrying it. Check it out. A good value for the money – and your friends are going to end up taking a second look at it.

Ive had this cooler for a little over a year now, functions like the day I bought it, great capacity for pleyof water and food. I use as a daily lunch cooler in the Texas heat. Half frozen/water gallon jug keeps everything really cold. Storage pockets great for battery pack, earbud case, snacks etc. Very durable highly recommended.

Strange to describe a cooler as beautiful but it is very attractive!! I used this over a 4 day weekend and it does a great job of keeping items cold. I froze a couple bottles of water and they were still partially frozen after 2 full days in 80 degree daytime temperatures. The zipper is stiff at first, just as others described - I used the included zipper lubricant and it did the trick. I didn't realize it had a shoulder strap as well, which I found very useful. This will hold 6 bottles of wine but not the ones that are a bit taller - I just leaned those over onto other items and I could close the zipper.

I absolutely love this cooler! It fits perfectly with a Bogg bag on the back of my Catch 100 kayak! It holds a good amount of stuff! We usually put drinks in my husband's bigger cooler, and food in mine. We have a family of 5 and this works perfectly! The material is very thick and super easy to clean, inside and out. Dirt just wipes away with water. Zipper is nice and tight. I put it in my lap the first day, oiled it and opened and closed it about 20x. Ice stayed for 2 days.AND!!!! *DRUM ROLL* The inside is PINK not ugly blue!10/10 don't buy a yeti and get this!

I just purchased Mohave 23. I had some questions, before purchasing and they were answered by ceo of company. The cooler is very well put together and seems durable. The only issue is the interior is very small. 23 cans would be pushing it and no room for ice. It is more like a 12 pack cooler, with a mixture of cans and water bottles.Not sure if I’m going to keep it or not. It’s not the quality but the size.

This was such a great purchase! I am lucky to live walking distance from the Beach. I have been through a number of Coolers over the years, this is my favorite. Unlike most travel coolers, this one is Heavy Duty in all area's that are important. Like the Strap! Always the first to break, this one is reinforced to the cooler. The cooler itself is amazing, it is still full of ice when I pack up to go home. That never happens. The Magnate is genius! Thank you. The price is great, I have given a couple as gifts. Highly highly recommend, you will not be disappointed! Thank you Cactus!

Very happy with this cooler! Great quality, solid construction, better than my neighbors yeti for half the price. The extra add-ons that came with it were a nice bonus (koozie, ice pack, and bottle opener). The magnets on the front are genius! The included bottle opener sticks to it and never gets lost! I've used it a few times and everything stayed very cold. Holds all my drinks, wine bottles etc and never leaked.

I have this cooler for 3 years, and it has been good, however, zipper broke. This cooler was probably only used 1x per month, so not impressed with that issue for the cost of it.
