I don’t ever write reviews but since iron deficiency is such an issue for many women and there are so many different options out there, I wanted to confirm that this iron supplement absolutely works and does not make you nauseous! I’ve been taking this for almost two years now and finally my iron levels are no longer low based on my last two years of lab tests. I wanted to wait until my second year of lab tests before writing this just to make sure it was for real and not some fluke! As a 51 year old woman who is primarily vegetarian and has heavy periods, I need to watch my iron levels. I’m so happy to have found this supplement that works. As a bonus, these pills also contain Vitamin C which helps with iron absorption, and B12 which is also good for vegetarians. Fantastic product!

This is my favorite iron supplement for a variety of reasons. I take this as a supplement every other day for low iron levels due to my frequency of blood donations that I do. For starters, I love that it comes in a glass bottle (helps with the stability of the product, and I guess don't have to worry about "microplastics"?!). It is also super gentle compared to other brands I have tried and it does not make me nauseous. I like that it is manufactured using real ingredients. It also contains vitamin C which helps with the absorption, so you do not have to buy another product - it is a 2-in-1! It is a little more pricy compared to other brands, but it is worth it if you want to avoid GI side effects and boost iron levels.

I’ve been taking these iron supplements for a while now, and I’ve noticed a real improvement in my energy levels. I also feel like my muscle strength and overall stamina have improved. My recent blood work has shown better results since I started taking them, which has been very encouraging. The tablets aren’t coated, but they’re still easy to swallow and don’t leave an unpleasant aftertaste. Overall, I’m very happy with the quality and results, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable iron supplement.

If I could give 10 stars, I would! This product works great in increasing blood levels without the terrible side effects that a typical supplement has. I was severely anemic due to heavy menstrual bleeding. Once the bleeding was under control, my blood level went from a 9 to a 12 in about 5 months. I feel so much better! The pill does have a slight irony scent but it’s not at all unpleasant. I took this daily right before I ate lunch as I had to stretch the timing out due to taking a thyroid pill in the am. With it, I always ate a small orange or had a small glass of orange juice as I learned vitamin c helps your body absorb the iron. It never once made my stomach upset. I did learn to not lie down immediately after taking the pill as it can cause heartburn. Sitting upright for about 10-15 minutes after taking helped avoid this. Overall I highly recommend this product!

Taste is mehhh. I am not a picky person when it comes to taste or smell of a vitamin or supplement. But this the taste of this pill is peakk bloody. But overall I don’t feel every crashes or any negative side effects. Quite decent.

So far, I'm really happy with MegaFood Blood Builder Iron Supplement. I've been taking it consistently and have not experienced any stomach upset or constipation, which I've had with other iron supplements in the past. It's gentle on my stomach and easy to take. While it's still early, I feel like my energy levels are improving, and I'm looking forward to seeing even more benefits with continued use. Overall, so far so good!

I love this supplement. I don’t have any stomach or bowel discomfort. I take it daily with no issues. I will say for the anemic (like moi) that it’s a little weak. It got my iron into an okay range (I think it went from18 to 32), but it’s not optimal. But hey, it got me up so that counts!

Works great, no side effects like constipation or abdominal pain. My only issue is that they taste AWFUL. Reminds me of rancid meat. I've tried taking them with milk but it doesn't help. I fill my mouth with liquid, tilt my head back, drop it in my mouth then swallow really fast. I still get the taste at the back of my throat. Gags me so bad I'm afraid I'm going to have to discontinue. (They are not expired.) Gave 5 stars because it works. Taste is subjective. Manufacturer: PLEASE COAT THESE. They work too well to forgo them.

Best iron supplement I’ve ever tried, I can see visible difference in my hair and my lab results are also good after using for 3 months

These are great, just one tablet a day will definitely increase you blood cell numbers. It works for me, for my brother and a friend of mine. My doctor was surprised with results after two months of use but then got pissed when I told him that I have actually stopped using FeraMax that he recommended and used Blood Builder instead. The only negative comment I heard from my friend that it does not work quite well when used with coffee. I am taking them in the evening a few hours after I had my last coffee.
