Works as Advertised, Fun Little Plant
I bought a few of these since they're inexpensive to try out and give to friends. So far, all the ones I've tried work great. I was really surprised how fast they "revived" once I added water, they are impressive. My mom is a Elementary school science teacher and took some to show her class. I did leave one in water a little too long and it got moldy within a few days but if you remove it from direct water contact after it opened I don't think that would happen. Also, of the 4 I got there were huge ranges in size. Didn't bother me at all but if you're buying some to be symmetrical be aware. And when opening the package, it dropped Chinese dirt everywhere so don't open it in the middle of the kitchen like I did. Overall, good experience and I'd buy them again (and probably will).

I think its dead.
I think its dead. Although I dont know how a resurrection plant can be dead unless the name is just a hype [which I am starting to believe]. Even after putting nutrients in the water [as nature will not be water only when it hydrates] still did not work. Both water and water with nutrients did not work. It does open up, but the 'green' leaves are more of a brownish green than a green one would expect from a live plant. Not to mention there is no indication of root growth, which would also be a sign of life. I think the plant I got is dead.

Good transaction, but this novelty plant gets boring after a while
I'm rating this on the actual transaction with the seller which was satisfactory, although the plant I got wasn't the lush green that some online pictures show. I've read that you can only get those plants directly from greenhouses that grow them. I'd rate the general species of plant at about a 1. Why? Because they're dull. The plants are tiny and really have no outstanding qualities other than opening when wet and closing into a ball when dry. I've allowed it to do that for several seasons now and I'm just bored with it now. They are just little green plants. They don't flower as the name suggests. What looks like flowers are actually the whitish underside of the tips of the fronds as the unfrill. Once the amazement of the opening has completed, all that remains is just a little green plant. It's not even truly the plant associated with Mary & Christ. That's a completely different plant called Anastatica hierochuntica. What is usually sold here in the States is this plant, the Selaginella lepidophylla, which grows in North and South America. This plant may be good to amaze young children, but as an adult and plant enthusiast, this novelty plant rates very low on my list.

That's pretty much all there is to it
I got mine today. I opened it up, with the plant in ball shape in a ziplock, and instructions. I made a makeshift rock garden in a 4 inch deep dish from rocks in my back yard (I'm in Arizona), flattened them out then poured water in to cover the rocks by a bit. I then laid the bottom of the plant ball into the water on the rocks made positioned it so it'd stay upright. That's pretty much all there is to it. The plant absorbs water into it and expands, opening up slowly. I monitored mine for about 3 hours while doing other things, and it was opening up nicely about then. It doesn't pop open like a jack-in-the-box, it's a 12-24 hour deal to open up with a week or two of absorbing water and getting itself straight before it unfurls completely. I was worried this plant would be one of those dead resurrection plants that people sell, but this one is far from it. I'm happy about that, and I just ordered 2 more - 1 for work and 1 for living room. This one stays in the kitchen area. EDIT: I bought two more about a week after I bought the first. The second two were bigger, each of them had different growing characteristics. They are all good quality, I'm happy I bought them. In the picture I've attached, the one on the far left is the original one I purchased and has been in water for about half a week or so. The other two were freshly put into water about 10 minutes before this picture was taken. I wasn't super delicate with the new ones, I ran them under a light stream of water in the sink to get them nice and wet.

Great green plant
On the outside this plant is brown and when it had completely opened, the top side of it was 99% green with just a little bit of brown. For that I give it 5 stars, often they are sold all brown, which means dead. This plant also smells good. I noticed as soon as I took it out of the plastic bag that it smelled similar to a Christmas tree. I have read reviews for this plant (from other sellers) that is smells bad, so 5 stars for the good smell. I only kept it in water for a few hours, since it is rootless and then just sprayed water on it and emptied the bowl as it filled up with that water. I don't know if keeping in water all the time would be good for it. Iโve wanted a plant like that for a long time and looked at a lot of reviews to find one that is still green and alive. This one is perfect.

Maybe overly dried?
I mean it came quickly and seems to be opening (blooming), but itโs been over 24 hours and still seems a bit dry and angry. Some pieces fell off too.

Got exactly what was on the webpage
Dried plant in excellent condition. Received exactly what was shown on the page. Although I think the roots could have been in slight better condition, but I guess it can be regrown. A great thanks to the seller for such an excellent Halloween gift, I had ordered one plant but received two plants. Thanks for the surprise. Although it may appear costly, it's price is totally understandable, since it is being imported to my country. Although I would like the seller to correct some information on the product page this is not Real Rose of Jericho (Anastatica Heirochuntica), it is False Rose of Jericho (Selaginella Lepidophylla). But I do not have any problem with this plant, since my intention was to buy Sellaginella. And upon rehydration it resurrects and greens up nicely.
