Comparative Bible Study: KJV and GNV with Reformers notes (Parallel Bible): Verse by Verse bible & Bible Outlines for each chapter Kindle Edition

A little tricky to navigate, and its a bit sloppy looking because the verses are not line-justified, and I REALLY wish they had presented it as KJV on one side and GCV on the other, instead of each GCV verse under each KJV verse. BUT, it totally serves its purpose providing the text of the GNV of the Pilgrims, and KJV which is the only correct English translation of the Hebrew Ben Chayyim Old Testament and Koine Greek Stephanus Textus Receptus New Testament (I can vouch for that statement as a ready and teacher of Hebrew and Koine Greek).

If you're looking for a Geneva Bible that is easy to navigate: this is it. It will take you a few minutes to figure out, but after that you can go book to book, chapter to chapter, with no problem. Please understand that I purchased this Bible about a half hour ago. I was so happy how easy it was to navigate I wanted to post it. I absolutely love this resource! It has the KJV and Geneva verse together and in different color for easy focus on one or the other. The reformers comments are priceless. I also love that the Geneva verses kept the original old-English spelling. It is easy to switch from the comments to verses since they are both linked. I gave it only 4 stars because the progress bar at the bottom does not slide and you can't go directly to a specific book from the menu. It moves to specific spots that may require you to "flip" through several books to locate the one you want. By typing in the location number (there are more than 170000) you can navigate a little more quickly. I am very thankful for the work that has gone into this to make it as wonderful as it is. I have been searching for the same thing in a book format. I'm sure it would be huge, but worth it to use for in depth reading. Thank you so much to those that put this together. I am eternally grateful.

This is a great study tool! It is easy to go back and forth from note to text and the contrasting colours for the text makes it easy to see either the sameness or the difference between versions at a glance. While the KJV is often lauded for its grandeur, the Geneva has at times a delightful directness.

good for reference for the Bible researcher. However, old English can be challenging to read.

kindle version allows me to take it everywhere for quick reference anytime.
