I compared with Twinings Ultra Chai. At first, I thought I preferred Twinings, but after a side-by-side comparison, Vahdam is clearly fuller flavored. The tea bag appears to contain real spices, so what could compare? I'm sold.

I shared this tea with a few people. They liked the tea. One made ice tea with it. Needs no sweetener. Rich crimson color.

Delicious and authentic

To the left of the attached picture is the bag I have always received so far. To the right you can see the new bag I just received, and the box it came in. The major difference you can read on the box. This tea now has bergamot *flavor*, not bergamot extracts. This was not advertised on the product's page which continues to show the previous bag. The tea bags within seem a tad bit smaller, and are all compressed together to fit in the smaller bag. But most importantly the bags do not have the bergamot smell any longer, instead a dull and mild, artificial smell that I suppose is the "bergamot flavor", that does not smell like it at all. In the mouth, same disappointing taste. This is not good any longer and this is not eligible for a return. Had the product's page been updated I would not have ordered it. I will never order it again, and am sorry that consumers lost a great product. This is doubly sad in that people buying this were okay with its price, and I would rather have payed a bit more to continue getting a good product than getting this (I wonder how much per 100-tea-bag box they save with this. In the long run they will lose customers...) At the very least please update the product's page. You can see at least one similar review.

Best bagged chai I have tasted. Good amounts of cardamam and clove along with the black tea. Although I do find you need to use 2 bags to make a decent 10oz. mug.

I ordered quite a few boxes as I wanted a variety of really good teas. I was so impressed at the packaging and how neat each box of 100 teas was. Enjoying the chamomile mint tea with a bit of honey in my favourite mug. Delicious!!! Will order again from this brand!!

Lovely and refreshing tea.

I am addicted to this chai. I've been a hardcore coffee drinker, a pot a day, for years. But I've been known to enjoy the odd tea. My fiance recieved some of this tea in part of a gift set, and it was DELICIOUS. I can't stop drinking it! I haven't drank coffee regularly in almost a month! It makes Tim Hortons chai taste like mud. Trust me, if you like chai, you're gonna love this. Anyways so I bought a bunch more of a few of the chais we liked from Vahdam. In a 100 count box of tea bags I found one empty pouch, and emailed Vahdam. Not to complain, but to just give them a heads up that it's happening, so they don't end up sending more empty pouches, and pissing off customers. They emailed me back, apologized, and told me they would make it right. They sent me 100 more bags of tea! Super generous of them. Customer service is A1. Edit : great tea, I've been ordering it monthly for a year now. One complaint. For a company that prides themselves on being environmentally friendly, only twice out of 11-12 orders have they sent me a resealable bag with 100 loose bags inside. All other orders have come with 100 tea bags individually wrapped in plastic/foil envelopes that are non recyclable, inside a big cardboard box. The packaging style should be an option, because unless you intend to provide this tea at a restaurant or hotel, there is absolutely no need to send 100 non recyclable bags with my tea.. Edit 2: So I've been drinking this stuff for 2 years now. They've stopped sending the wrapped bags, which is great. Much less waste.. But now, they've also stopped using the durable material they used to use for their pyramid shaped bags. The ones that they pride themselves on in the description. They've now started sending bags that are paper thin, and often have holes in them. Also, the way the strings and tags are glued to the bags also causes them to rip easily when the string is separated from the bag. Still delicious tea, but now I find myself with a handful of useless bags and loose tea at the bottom of the pouch at the end.. Honestly considering switching to another brand. The tea is good, but the leaky bags are annoying.. Edit 3: I kept buying it, and after a couple orders, the bags stopped ripping/showing up with holes in them. I now 100% recommend purchasing this product.

I bought 2 boxes that went straight in the bin. Smelled really bad and taste was rotten. I love jasmine tea and this was awful
