What is the height of the cups?

Hello there, The cup measurements are: Upper Outer Diameter 3.6” Upper Inner Diameter 3.3” Bottom Outer Diameter 2.6” Bottom Inner Diameter 2.5” Height 1.5” Depth 1.4”

Can i use this for steaming as well?

These versatile silicone cups can withstand the extreme steam of dishwashers and cooking. However, extra attention should be given to not exceed the maximum safe temperature when using these cups beyond their intended purpose.

Can i use these for soap making?

Hello :) and thank you for your question. Yes, these baking cups exceptionally versatile around the home and can be used for making soap. Please use extra care when using these cups beyond their intended purpose and you should have great success. Best of Luck :)

I finally received these. the intructions say they will smoke the first few times they're used. why?? and why do you recommend greasing???

Mine never smoked but you absolutely want to coat the inside of the cup to keep your food from sticking. I didn’t the first time and my egg cups left a residue on the surface I couldn’t wash off. I thought I ruined the cups. Next time I sprayed with Pam and the egg cups came out easily and the “stuck on” residue was gone ! My cups have been used many times & look like new. Hand wash.
