Be aware of AFM/DOD lifter differences
Seems to work on unjammed lifters or for installation purposes

Yeah, it will do the job. After modification
Needed some modifications as it broke, at the spot weld, but after some oxy-acetylene welding, it works good. Had to make it my own, and without a welder would have been SOL, but as is, now I have a good tool for what I need.

Cheaply made ,bad welds on handle area
The metal plate broke off at the handle within the first 10 minutes of using it

Actually worked well.
It did exactly what it was supposed to do by clamping on to the lifters to pull them out and reinstall them.

Junk but it got what i needed done.
So these lifters were really stuck. I used the tap method like others have posted on youtube. Basically you want to lock it into the lifter and then tap handle with a mallet or dead weight while applying slight outward pressure. You want the lifter to slide back into the engine with each whack while not allowing it to hit the camshaft. So don't put a death grip on the tool, let it move. If it ain't budging then you may be trying to force it out an incorrect angle, switch hands or adjust the angle and tap again. This tool is super cheap, the handle broke, the handle broke but it still got the job done. The price is so cheap anyways, what was I expecting. I think I wouldnt have a problem if i was gentler or if the engine wasnt so varnished.

Little bit difficult to use on a 350
Did not fit through the pushrod holes on my 350, and was a little bit awkward to use. Did the job and saved a lot of time but needs caution as it can pop the retainer out of the lift er and you donโt want that falling into the engine.. decent quality tool
