The TL time‑delay element is designed to ride through short inrush events from motors or compressors and open on sustained overloads, which reduces nuisance blows on appropriate circuits. Labeling is clear and the amp rating is easy to read in low light. Important use notes: match the amp rating to the circuit; never upsize a fuse to stop repeated openings. TL plug fuses are not Type‑S rejection fuses; do not substitute where a Type‑S adapter is installed. On 20‑amp branch circuits, wiring is typically 12 AWG per U.S. code; confirm before use.
