I loved it so far the best I've ever used and I've been using hernia belts for almost 20 years and I've tried those expensive ones from the medical supply stores and after using this I realized how much pain and discomfort I was feeling. I've been having it with the other ones I've used (thinking it was normal) since I haven't tried a different type like this. I am so blessed and happy that I have the one that makes me feel so comfortable, I am not going to tell you all the problems about the others that I have used in the past, but I am going to tell you all the future advantages and benefits of using this one,,, It's very comfortable, it does the job, it's very affordable, it's built in good cloth materials and most importantly it doesn't bother me at all, it doesn't hurt my waist with pressure, it's adjustable and easy to wear. I am so happy that I ordered a hernia belt that is doing what it is supposed to in supporting the affected area. 5 stars for this product congratulations. If it works for me, it will work for you.

Most of it works quite well. However, each of the grippy Velcro ends lacks a stiff backing. What happens as a result is that they very quickly curl up, and then end up gripping your clothes. The net result is that you put it on, and as you put on your clothes over it, it grips the Velcro ends and pulls them off, causing the belt to fall off. It also makes removing the belt more problematic. My solution has been to cut off the curly Velcro piece on the end. There is enough Velcro left with backing that it still works. I don’t think I can cut the wider strap around the waist, but I can deal with that. I reached out about the issue and the customer service is great.

I’ll give it a 4 It’s very comfortable and does a good job at keeping the hernia bulge inside. Only issue for me is the Velcro. The Velcro tends to lose its attach ability after a while of use. Unfortunately, my hernia is bad and I have to have it on at all times when active. So I use it daily. So would I recommend? Yes. Just know its use is limited bc eventually the Velcro won’t want to stick anymore. What could help the product? Better Velcro attachment that last. Perhaps sewing on the two attachments and leaving the other two adjustable? Decent product just wish the longevity of the products use would improve.

Sadly, I recently developed an inguinal hernia, most likely do in equal parts to my 50+ age and frequent resistance training. My family also has a proclivity for getting them so I also got a raw deal on the genetics side. Anyway, I tried another other belt before this one and there is no comparison. The Tenbon Truss is superior in every way, from materials to proper support. It is also easier to use. The other has a thong style center band while this one wraps around the legs and buttocks, avoiding going up "the crack". It is fairly easy to put on quickly, and using the bathroom isn't as much of a chore. I recommend long form fitting boxers when using a truss. Hey, I'm not happy about having to wear this, but I'm glad to have it. I didn't put it on one morning and sat down the wrong way, and ...OUCH! If you've experienced the hot poker like pain, then I don't need to describe it. If you haven't yet felt the pain but have developed a hernia, then do yourself a favor and don't let that happen. I'm not sure when surgery will be an option, but until then this belt is my new best friend. I like the quality of this product and the fact I can just wear it to protect one side. The straps are very adjustable. I 6' and 185 lbs., and the medium is ideal for my 32" waist. ~ Kort

This hernia truss is well made. It works nicely pushing in on the area of the protrusion after manually reducing the hernia. The document claims healing of the affected muscle occurs by wearing the truss. Other sources say hernias do not self heal. Only invasive surgery can fix a hernia. Obviously two wildly opposing views. The possible problem with the truss is this. The curved foam pad, tightly held in place by the truss, pushes in on the separated muscle sides resulting in a reverse hernia from the outside in. Consequently healing cannot occur. If fact the truss may make the hernia worse by continuing to force the sides of the muscle open thereby enlarging the opening. The pressure of the truss is adjustable. It takes time and several wearings to get a comfortable fit. I am going to flip the pad over so the flat side is against the opening instead of the rounded side to see if this works better. I only have a left inguinal hernia. The truss effectively uses velcro to hold it in place. But where the truss comes together on the right side there is a spot where there is no velcro to attach the buttock strap to so you have improvise. I am using both straps on my left side. This is working ok. I am happy with the truss. It keeps my hernia from excessively bulging out but does not keep it completely reduced.

Works very well for Inguinal Hernias. Has pads for either side, or you can use both at the same time if you have a double like me. It's as comfy as it can be, make sure the Velcro is lined up properly. It's a bit bulky and awkward but it's way better than going without. I've got a month until surgery and I'll wear this everyday.

Works great! Makes everything feel much more secure and where it should be. I'm sure it will even make my work easier to manage. The quality of the materials used feels good as well. It is very adjustable and would fit people bigger or smaller than me (size 32 waist). The value you get for how much you spend is great too. Even if they only last a couple months they could be replaced easily. I definitely would recommend this product!

Helped prevent pain and swelling of bilateral hernia sights while waiting for surgery. Wore this during 12 hour shift in the hospital which included moving bariatrict patients [ cause of the hernia to begin with ]. Only fault is that the Velcro started to curl after 2 months of frequent use at work and infrequent use at home.

This little belt is serving me well with it's simple no bulky design. I trimmed the foam pad off a bit so it wouldn't bind in my stomach area while weightlifting. I haven't missed a beat on my regular training program with no concerns about the hernia. You can adjust how tight you want it against your body. Just this week I hit 3x5 reps at 315lbs on my squat,385 on my deadlift, and 75lb dumbell for my sit-ups. Once you get used to how to adjust the straps with the strong velcro you will hardly notice it's on. I don't when I go out for work which requires lifting equipment. I recommend it.

I saw a high rating for this product therefore i bought the product but it's very uncomfortable to wear and do any exercise.
