Google - Pixel 3a XL with 64GB Memory Cell Phone (Unlocked) - Just Black (Renewed)

This phone is very high quality compared to those I used to have. People actually hear me crystal clear and most of the time I hear people speaking very well. I absolutely love the camera as it takes great quality, colorful pictures even at a pitch black night with the powerful flash. There was an issue with the original charger that came with it, but this problem was resolved eventually. The original charger died in two days, But now I have received a replacement charger for free of charge and this one works very well even after two weeks of usage. I have npt even tried many fratures of this phone and eventually I will get myself to try them, but I need more time. I am old school and somewhat slow and I am already very happy with what I have seen. I realize this phone was a renewed version by Amazon and now there is a new generation is out that is supposed to be better, but at this point I am not interested in any of the latest and greatest as long as the current version is good enough for my work. And it is, it definitely beyond my highest expectations and I am very happy with it. Hope I will be able to report the same a year from now after I used it heavily. I thank again to the seller for taking care of me and providing me a new charger for no extra cost.

This is a very high tech, beautifully made cell phone. It operates with Android 10. I am upgrading from a Samsung Note 4 and this is a pretty big change in the operator interface, but the more I use it the more I like it. One big disappointment was a total lack of any documentation and i don't find much on line or in the books available from Amazon. This seems like a big failing or I am just missing something. Another issue that really surprised me was the incredibly intrusive nature of the software included. The device reads my text messages and reacts with advertising. For instance if I type "let's go to lunch" the screen will immediately make a suggestion about where to go and ask if I want to send info on this restaurant to the other party. The first moment I get, I will cut out all this sort of intrusion. The camera is just absolutely amazing with an incredible list of digital processing features.

I ordered this Amazon renewed product at the recommendation of a Amazon customer service agent. I had stated I was very leery ordering a used cell phone but they said that they stand by their products by all costs and would help me in any way possible if I received an item that wasn't up to my standards. Well, I received the item and it definitely is not up to my standards. The body of the cell phone looks like it's been heavily used for at least 5 years. The charger that I came with is not only an off-brand charger, it was not compatible with my device and charged it a whole whopping 1% during an hour time span. Then I moved it to a charger that was previously used on my other pixel, the one that I actually got from the cell phone provider, and it only charged 3% in an hour. And if anyone knows anything about the pixel 3aXL you know how amazing the battery is and how fast it charges and how long it lasts. That's not the case with this phone. Then.. yes there's more, I finally put in my SIM card only to find out that this phone is definitely indeed not unlocked. Again, as the description says, this is not an unlocked phone. I reached out to customer service and the seller. Customer service did not stand by their product as stated. And not only that they cannot guarantee me a replacement that will actually work. I just wasted a whole lot of money that I was scared of using in the first place but like I said Amazon said it would be fine. It's not.

Got this to replace my pixel 2 after which was struggling to last 7 hours in my pocket. Phone is great- a smidge slower on some things with the mid-range chip, but noticably better screen, camera, and most of all BATTERY. The 3a xl is giving me 18 hours of life with 5 hours+ of screen-on time. But hats off to the seller!!! ReCell got it to me 1 day early and this thing is in PRISTINE condition. Many thanks for that!

I've only had the phone one week and already there were two updates released. That's a big plus. The renewed phone came with a crappy charger, so I purchased a replacement PD (power delivery) USB charger that charges the phone fast. Camera is great, phone looks new. Get yourself a decent charger. I'll be getting a case as well for those unintended drops. Would purchase again.

Bought one of these previously that was vendor locked to Verizon, after working for a week with Verizon I was unable to get them to give me the unlock code despite them acknowledging it shouldn't have been locked. Returned that one and bought this one for slightly less money... Was actually unlocked, currently typing my review with it :p Phone is fast, very fast, no signs of wear, and transferring my old phone over took less than 10 minutes. Had to do almost nothing else. Android 11 is much better than iOS, IMHO, and this is one of the better phones out there for Android. Camera is fantastic.

1) I bought the refurb version; great battery life, perfect screen, no scratches, looks like new. 2) I needed to update from a Android phone that no longer got updates, which are very needed for security. The 3axl is listed to get updates for at least the next year or two. 3) Lots of screen real estate; much easier to use than smaller phones. 4) Good wifi sensitivity, works with weak signals.
