See through - but so comfortable you won't care.
Let's get to know one another, shall we? I ordered a size medium (I typically wear a size 6 jeans or a 4 dress). I'm 5'4 with a ridiculously short inseam of about 28 or 29"These are easily the most comfortably leggings I've ever purchased. Super soft and like a nice little hug as you sit or walk. Don't mistake that for being too compressing though - they're really not. I was actually hoping for a little more compression. I'm pregnant and plan to wear these on a flight. So having compression for blood circulation was the goal (along with comfort, look, etc). But these have the perfect ratio of compression to comfort for normal wear.I digress.Let's just get right to it:Info:- They have a 26" inseam when stretched and on, 21" laid flat- Waist is high - comes up well above my bellybutton (by about 2" or so - but remember: I'm kinda short)- Minimal waistband and leg opening hem/band- They ARE see through. Not crazy see through - but I did a test even in a normally lit room and bending at the waist, I could see the pattern of my underwear pretty clearly. I'd say a solution for this is wearing a pair of plain black underwear to keep your pals at yoga from seeing your bits and pieces.Pros:- Comfortable- They actually go to my ankle - which I was banking on since I'm short- The finish is neither shiny nor matte (although I'd say more matte than shiny, if that makes sense)- Perfect amount of compression for shaping and keeping all your wobbly bits tucked away- Incredibly soft- Machine washable- They're actually kind of warm while still being breathable. Meaning: I think I'll be perfectly warm on the plane, but I don't think I'll be overheating when I go for a walk or run.Cons:- They are see through. No way around it. Not crazy see-through, but I suppose ANY amount of see-through is no bueno. Might be less see-through if you order a size up.- They kind of snag pretty easily on things. I noticed wearing them the first time that my wedding ring kept snagging on the side of it. It wouldn't pull horribly and it seemed I could kind of "rub out" the snags if that makes sense. It continued to snag in the first wear on my dog's paw pad, his nails (understandable - although they're not long), and most embarrassingly: my stupidly calloused feet. I sat criss-cross and the callousing on the side of my foot was kind of snagging the fabric. Gross. Now I'm embarrassed.Continuing on...Overall, I'm pretty pleased (hence the four stars). But I'll write an updated review after they've been worn a bit.Update: I've had these for several months now and they have been fantastic. They wash great and as much as I've worn and washed them, they've shown minimal pilling and wear. The fit remains comfy and I was able to wear them comfortably up until about week 28 of my pregnancy (first pregnancy though - so I was still small). The attached photo is of me at about 17 weeks pregnant. You can see that given my shortness, they actually go pretty much to my ankle.

Size down for compression, otherwise order the right size!
These are amazing leggings for the price. I ordered a small and then decided to reorder since I loved them so much! I will say, however, don't do what I did and attempt to squeeze into a size that is too small. Go with your measurements! I am 5'2", 150 lbs. My waist is 29inches, high hips (where the hip bone hits) is 38 inches, and wide hip (largest part of my butt) is 44inches. My thighs measure in at about 26.5 inches and I have short legs. So yeah, going off my measurements, I am not a size small. However, with most leggings I fit into size smalls as most leggings stretch and mediums and longs tend to either be too long on my legs or too loose in the waist. I was assuming the same with these so despite having quite the hips I went for a small.Well, I was able to squeeze in, and squeeze it did. These certainly compress! Small on me is much more of a compression fit. It smoothed me ALL over. Unfortunately, I was squeezed in a little too tight, and after doing a stretch, a seam on my butt split and I had to walk around campus stealthily holding a textbook to my butt. Later after sewing it, a seam on my thigh split open as well. This happened another time after this.I believe this is more of my fault of ordering a size too small when I clearly don't fit the measurements of a small. If you feel like normally you can get away with fitting in smaller sized leggings, do NOT do that with this brand. Just size appropriately.I love the material. It really does do wonders in sucking you in. They truly are shapewear. I took off one star for the fact the material does appear to be somewhat prone to holes at the seams if stretched too much. The small was tight, but still fit, and shouldn't have popped the seams 3 times! I feel like the seams might just not be that strong. The material also has started to pill at my inner and outer thighs just slightly.Otherwise, they are amazing leggings. The material itself is durable and strong and it is very compressing and smoothing. I'd say for the price they are very much worth the money!

Too good to be true!!
I would give these a 10 star rating if possible. I wear these under things, like pants and workout clothes. I lift relatively heavy weights and take zumba classes. I have been wearing "look at me" Spanx for years. And, I loved them. But the Spanx get holes in the crotch and they are between $70 and $80 a pair. And, they are hot in the summer. I came on Amazon to buy more Spanx. But, on a lark, I started searching and found these. They were rated highly and cheap!! Too cheap to be true-- I thought. But there was one review here which convinced me to try them. And, the cost was so low, I thought--why not? So I bought 1 pair. I am now ordering 3 more. These are light weight but there is a good amount of control. Open the picture and look at the top of the product. You will see that there is more material starting at your waist and going downward towards your legs. This, I think is an important part of the control. They are easily lightweight enough to wear working out, under workout pants in the summer in Alabama. And, frankly, they make me look slimmer than did the Spanx. I am 5ft 3 in and 140. I am very curvy-but I have a relatively small waist. There is sufficient support to tame my legs and butt. The waist line does not bind and I have no muffin top. I have worn these now three times--and I actually feel lighter than with other shapers--many of which are either way too tight or simply have no ability to comfortably adjust to my curves. I have had many other shape wear (which are sitting in my drawer) and these are my favorite hands down. Only one caveat. These must be worn under something, as there is a bit (and I mean a bit) of shine and I think if I bent over without my pants, you might be able to see my butt.

Great fit
Great fit. These leggings are not see through and they do not fall down at the waist. They are high waisted and give a nice shape. I recommend them.

Maidenform Fat Free Dressing Leggings
Have a few pairs of these bought elsewhere so when I saw them advertised on Amazon at a cheaper price than I normally pay ( I have however since saw them even cheaper elsewhere) I ordered a pair straight away. They arrived quickly & were well packaged. The only problem I had was that they were on at least an hour before it was pointed out to me that there was a small hole, about an inch long, in the seem towards the bottom of the left leg, very frustrating as this means they can only be worn with knee length boots instead of with sandals etc like my other pairs. Otherwise these are great leggings, they are ideal for everyday wear, sport, or can even be worn dressed up for evening with a nice tunic. They can get a bit hot if worn during the summer, the fabric is great as tops don't cling like often happens with cotton leggings, they just skim over it. They are high waisted which is great as they don't fall down nor give muffin top. Hold you in lightly so they help prevent wobbles so quite flattering yet comfortable to wear. I love these they are my favourite leggings I just wish I could get them full length as well, if they stop making these I don't know what I shall do.

Love these leggings they are so comfortable and the material is great quality. I originally purchased a pair at Costco a few years ago and was happy to track them down on Amazon for such a great price.
