I love the tool. I’m a beginner on this kind of work but it’s really fun to use. Results look amazing

A must have tool for a boat restoration project. Used it to seamlessly Join 2 casting decks and 3 deteriorated deck hatches on a boat project (it didn’t turned out so great but, Definitely better that just using a skill saw). This tool was 100% necessary for proper fitment and shaping templates into their purpose. An essential tool, notably needed before applying fiberglass filler dough, gel coat, and fiberglass chop/woven strand infused with polyester resins(expensive). It destroyed everything in it’s path (almost Killed me; more than once). I Also used it on KinG Starboard HDPE for plastic for lid covers, boxes, and random stuff. (starboard it’s a delight to work with but really expensive and finicky when routing by hand). This is the first router that I’ve ever owned. And I think it works too good (I got some runaways while it being on my hands so I had to slam it into the ground for safe measures (it survived but still, was scary). I suck at wood working, so no complaints from my end. However, buyer beware: not for the pussies nor the weak handed. It’s power will require you to submit to the beast, and grow some pubies, just like my old man had taught me. Anyways I’m super stoked about this wood router. You will not be able to find a better deal that includes mill ends and tooling for a better price!! Will give it 5 stars 🌟💫⭐️💫🌟💥🔥

I haven't used it alot. It's a bit scary. I don't know what I expected all in all. This product doesn't have much instruction. It came with a pack of washers and stuff that don't seem to be used. The chuck wrenches are the right size, but pretty thin. I wish they had rubber dipped them. I suppose I can buy a can of rubber dip. There were NO BITS in the box. It said 2 carbon brushes. There are two packs of little tiny springs with a tiny magnet that seem appropriate to nothing. I cannot figure what they are for and there is no instruction. You have to buy BITS seperately. There are three posing stands. A round clear one, a two toe, and some offset fork. I guess they'll be useful. For my projects, I am trying to work on the wall, and seem to want to hold it like a pen. It does work, but I am not used to it yet. I expect I'll make a lot of mess. It kicks up a lot of fine dust. The whole area got coated. I don't know why I thought the mess would be less and not blown everywhere like it is. There is no adjustment for speed that I have yet found. It is all the way on. Or all the way off. One flip switch. No more than that. I think the tool is the right tool, but I'm just seeing there is some refinement missing. For example, they could have given one starter bit. They should have rubber coated the grip areas. They should have included a dust filter for the motor area. It is wide open with no filter over it. I think it is a decent tool. A great bargain to be sure. I don't know how it will hold up in the long run, though. I am going to work with it more, but for now is four stars because of NO BITS and parts with no clear use and NO clear instructions or images. There is only a page of idiot warnings so, for those who aren't scared to fiddle with it, it will go together once you have a bit. The cap is on the shaft (It's the triangle part with the cut) and it is under the screw. I'm surprised none of these things have a collar or placement notches, but they don't seem to. Looks good. :)

I used this to roundover all the handrails on my deck and several rounded edge boards that I had to rip down then reprofile. It has mowed through a couple hundred feet of sopping wet pt lumber, outside in 100deg heat, with no problem. It cuts as fast as you can feed it. It's got a good weight and gobs of power, the bits are good too. The height adjustment works nice. Get this one you won't be disappointed.

As a first-time router user, I did not need a very expensive one. I Decided to give this one a try and I love it! I don't do much heavy duty routing. This model is perfect for me. My first project involved beveling and grooving molding for a custom floor transition. I enjoyed the versatility and compact size. Very easy to use. The clear base is a terrific design. Makes it so much easier to see what I'm doing. A solid, well constructed machine. Designed to last. Came beautifully packaged. I look forward to finding other creative uses for this router set. Amazing Price!

It works. I'm not experienced with using routers, so I wouldn't guess as to durability or how it compares to other routers. I had a very small one time job to do, so was shopping price. And for the price, I'm fully satisfied. So why 3 stars? Well, as other reviews have commented, the instructions/directions are completely useless and no online support or videos (come on, it's 2025, already!) I ended up being able to use the videos from another company as the hardware, guides and adjustments seem fairly generic. And once understood, they are fairly simple. So, I can see why there may not have been much guidance included in this, EXCEPT at this price it's most likley to be purchased by rookies like me. If you know trim routers and just need a light task unit, this is fine. If you want to by an economical unit for few DIY projects, probably also fine. Just plan on hunting for some YT videos to figure out how t o use it.

I hand-make my own cutting boards that I then engrave and sell in my Etsy shop. I was looking for an inexpensive router to use to finish the edges of the boards and add juice grooves, etc. Just little things here and there. WOW this tool is 500% better than I was expecting it to be. It's heavy and well-made and the included bits and attachments for the price literally cannot be beat. Although there's no way to quickly change the bits and you need to use the included wrenches to do so, I think that this small sacrifice is totally worth saving the money you would pay to buy a more expensive router with this added benefit. I love it and have had 0 problems with it and it's taken my work to a whole other level of professional finishing touches so I am SUPER happy with this buy!

UPDATE: Changed my rating from 3 stars to 1 star. The seller offered a refund if I wanted it. I asked for the refund. They wanted to send an instructional video to my email. I said no. Then they wanted me to video myself using the power tool to show them the problem. VERY dangerous suggestion and very shady!!! While trimming Formica, the bit came loose half way through a pass, started coming out and gouged out Formica on another surface. Very disappointing!

These are amazing, the price is unbeatable and they are very sharp and seem durable so far

This tool is very effective. I was able to groove all the support beams for my deck railing in less than 15 minutes once I figured out how to tighten the bit properly. Which leads to the explanation of my 4 star rather than 5.. The instruction manual is useless.
