These markers haven’t failed me yet, so I’d say they’re pretty accurate! It’s simple, if the color is really dark, the bill is fake. If it’s a light tan color, it’s real. I still use these at my business every day. I check everything over a $20 note, and sometimes even on the $20 bills. They’re a bit shorter than a regular sharpie marker but not by much. They seem pretty durable, I’ve used the same marker for about a year now and it hasn’t dried up yet. Great for small business or currency collectors!

Pens work as expected, but are a bit on the shorter side compared to what I'm used too. I also noticed that the pen cap doesn't have the tab thing that attachs it to your paper so there is no great way to tie it to the register so it doesn't get lost without a big glob of tape on it. I do like the fact that it comes with multiples pens for when they do get lost though! As far as I know, the pen is pretty accurate. The color eventually blends in with the money. You wouldn't want to use these pens for anything but checking to see if money is fake or not.
