what is the serial number?

Help calibrating the scale. After holding the button, place can on the scale, it flashes, then sugar, it passes. I weigh object, weigh is wrong?

First, you need two accurate weights: 5.000 kg and 50.000 kg. Since you probably don't have those, you can stop reading now. If you do have those, and you still bought a $30 scale thinking that calibrating it would serve any practical purpose.... Hold MODE down for several seconds. The scale will display 50 kg. Press MODE again, it will display 5 kg. It is telling you what reference weights it will be expecting. Press MODE once more, and flashing CAL will display, and then 5.000 kg. Place your 5.000 kg reference weight on the scale. After a few seconds, it will flash with the second requested weight; place that weight on the platform (remove the other one of course). After a few seconds, it will say PASS.

How does the hold function work? The instructions do not help.
