Work Great!
This works perfect ! We were always tracking in from the yard to our screened in porch with other types of mats. Not this one ! No tracking in grass now ! Cleans perfectly every time!

Not a chew deterrent
I purchased this in the hope that my dog would not chew it. He did. The quality of the mat itself is fine but only lasted 1 day for me. That has nothing to do with the seller or the quality of the mat. Just my crazy dog.

Door mat
Great for sandy boots and shoes Stops all the extra sand that used to come into my house. But hurts your feet if you don't have on shoes. My dog jumps over it too..

I use it as an indoor mat
I use it as an indoor mat at the front door entrance. I have two of them now and when I come in, I wipe my feet off before I walk in the house to keep the dirt at the front door. The dirt falls easily through the mat. The mat is lightweight so I pick it up and sweep out the dirt right out the front door. I don’t have to do this very often because I have a mat at the bottom of the stairs where I can wipe my feet before I come inside. But I always take my shoes off before I come in . The only shoes in my house are ones that are not dirty and don’t go outside. So the ones outside I might bring them in in the evening so I don’t keep them out there at night. By then if they’re wet they’re dry and the dirt on the bottom is dry. I take the shoes and hit them together to knock off any dirt. Any dirt that stays is usually light. So if I have to come inside with my shoes on, or I wanna go outside and put my shoes on, I can do that on these mats and any light dirt will fall through the mats . They handle like dirt very well. I’m sure they would handle heavier dirt, but I really don’t want to use them for that because I don’t wanna have to sweep out a bunch of heavy dirt. Only because I don’t want to have to work that hard. I’d rather do the heavy cleaning off my shoes outside than inside. The winter time is the heaviest time for having mud on the bottom of your shoes. In those cases I would leave my shoes outside until the mud dried, and then knock them off by hitting them together and then leaving them outside. I would never use shoes inside that are going outside. I have my inside shoes and my outside shoes. But you’d be surprised how much light dirt collects in your house from your shoes. And the wind has a tendency to blow in dust and it adds up. Having these mats controls a lot of that that adds up and collects overtime were you don’t notice it until one day you notice that you need to sweep your floor. So it keeps me from having to sweep my floor so often it’s been really good to keep that from happening so much. And I noticed that I don’t have a lot of dust in my furniture. That’s why I bought a lot more mats to put on my floor. To keep the dust down and control the location of the dirt which is minimal. Not only that it keeps the floor warm and controls the heat from escaping .

Durable but metal hurts bare feet.
Works well when using shoes, but the metal is painful to step on in bare feet.

Solid but a bit pricey
Love how the dirt (and snow) falls through the spaces.

Doesn’t stay together.
It’s okay but the fibre brushes keep coming out of the mat framework. It pulls the muck out of boot cleats but you have to keep reinstalling the fibre strips.
