Summary: Good price, comfortable, easy to get in and out, adjustable.This chair is pretty comfortable (I would make the seat a little longer). It has wide, comfortable arm rests, a drink holder that is more functional than I thought it would be, an nice pillow (at first it seemed too thick, but its just right now), and its pretty easy to adjust how much it sits up or lays back, and an adjustable foot rest.But the reason I like this so much more than my previous hanging chair is this one is sooo much easier to get into and out of. To get in, just back up into it until you end up sitting down in it. To get out, just use your feet to back up a little, then use the overhead bar to finish standing up. Very easy. Even my 84 yr old mother in law likes it.I had another hanging chair that was also pretty comfortable, but it was a pain to get in and out of. You had to dodge around a bunch of different poles, nothing really to hang onto to help you in or out, and it cost twice as much. It was comfortable, but not effortless. So when one of its ropes broke (after about 8 years), rather than replace all ropes on it, I bought this one. Glad I did. I also bought a side pocket storage (HAKACC Bedside Caddy, $5.99) that I hung from a cord tied to the side just under the armrest, giving me one big pocket for newspaper & books, and 3 smaller pockets for phone, glasses and whatever (extra drink).I bought this one for the cabin, I will be getting another for home.

This is the third chair of this style I've had and I am really impressed with the way it is made. The use of ropes and hooks to hold the chair web to the wooden rods is superior to the cups used in other styles. The mounting ring with additional chain to adjust the length of the chair is a vast improvement. No longer do you have to fuss around with nylon ropes trying to adjust the length and the mounting hardware is easy to use.The chair material is comfortable and sturdy. There have been questions regarding the finish on the wooden rods and the finish on my chair (the red one) is a dark brown. Very nicely finished.My only complaint is that the woven tape used to attach the cup holder could be longer. It hangs at eye level once attached which is too high. Needs to be longer.Great chair; especially for the price.

This is our second chair like this - bought one last summer and thought it turned out good enough to get another. The material is nice and sturdy, the chair itself is put together well and super easy to hang. The only thing is that the foot rest is a little flimsy and ends up kind of rolling over in half, but really it's not a deal breaker. Nice and comfy, good quality- great price.

We bought several different styles of swinging chair, and this is the most comfortable.

I hung two of these hanging chairs on my patio, and I have to say they are very well made. The fabric and materials are going to last for decades, even with the fierce sunny days of Southern California. It looks to me that they will stand up to any weather we get here, and I'm not worried that they will rot from rain or sun. As for assembling them, make sure to read the instructions and then it's easy.I also find that the adjustable parts are useful. I can make them more reclined or more upright and can adjust the foot rest too. Having a drink holder is nice too, as I don't have to get out of the chair.My whole family likes them too, as its a design that is so relaxing and comfortable. We use them when friends are over, or just when my wife and I like to chat over coffee in the morning. I find them to be perfect for relaxing or reading, even with my lower back injury. I can sit in them so comfortably that taking a nap or meditating is easy. Very relaxing!On a personal note -I am going to buy a few extra parts: swivel hardware and a spring so that the chairs will turn 360 degrees and balance out the weight. This will help keep the metal parts from wearing and making noise. Because the chairs are easy to take down and move, I am going to add more places to put them on my front porch.

I use this inside as a reading and relaxing chair in lieu of a recliner. I replaced a Caribbean-style hammock chair that I have been using for several years, but one of the support strings broke and I'm not confident that I could repair it properly to support my weight.I really like the way that the seat is cut and designed to where I can sit up and look forward to read or watch TV instead of looking at the ceiling or having to stack pillows behind my head like I had to in the Caribbean-style chair, and the attached pillow is really comfortable. I like the cup holder and how it's suspended so I can swing a little bit and the drink doesn't spill.I'm not a huge fan of how the footrest is designed because it blocks my forward view, but if I just adjust the chair height I can use an ottoman that I already have for a footrest.When I bought the first hammock chair, this style was far more expensive, and the price has since dropped to be competitive with the other kinds of chairs.I highly recommend.

We hung this on our screened porch. It’s a replacement. We had another very expensive brand with webbing that broke after 15 years. I’m not complaining as I felt we got our money’s worth. However, this brand didn’t cost much and it is built tougher and sturdier than the previous brand we had. This webbing is so strong and reinforced that I don’t expect it will ever shred or tear. The seat is high quality canvas. The blue is a nice rich color. Our chair hangs from a high ceiling so we bought a chair swivel and extra chain from hardware store. See pictures. We’re considering buying another chair to use inside a guest house as a place to sit while reading or enjoying the view. You honestly can’t go wrong buying this chair. Great price. Outstanding quality. Easy setup. Very comfortable.
