We had one of those old cheap grocery store plastic holder that broke at the hook. I had even used epoxy to try and repair it. Well that finally broke too. So we invested in a nice solid stainless hanger. It is a great design and does not fall over no matter how much you take off or put on it. It is well balanced. Perfect for our kitchen.

Bought this for two reasons: I hate wasting food (i.e. throwing out food that has gone bad) and I hate that bananas age so quickly. This solves both those problems. Using the stand added about 2 days of banana goodness. Normally, I would buy 5 bananas and, when placed on the counter, the last banana would be questionably brown. Using the stand, I can get 6 bananas and not even question them by day 6.

It's kinda cheapish and a little flimsy but it does the trick. There are 2 lbs of bananas on the hanger as we speak and it hasn't broken, tipped, etc. We went grocery shopping at our local warehouse store this weekend and there was a name brand hanger for $10 that I had in my hand. It's was better quality but I figured I could find it cheaper on Amazon. I only paid $8 for this one but it's chrome and I didn't have a choice in finish. Chrome doesn't fit into the rest of my household decor, whereas the $10 one from the warehouse store had the choice of bronze or nickel finish, but overall I would recommend this banana tree hanger. The proof will be in the pudding as to whether or not the bananas last longer than usual on my countertop or not!

After 1.5yrs the weld failed causing hook to detach. I expected it to last longer for such a simple object.

I love this banana stand!!! The quality is absolutely amazing!!It holds up to 6 bananas beautifully!It was so disappointing to constantly be busy buying bananas for my baby daughter throwing them out after only a day. It was such a waste. Since I purchased this stand I buy a full bunch of bananas, and all of them get eaten! They stay fresh!This stand was well worth the money, compared to the amount of bananas I have been saving!Although I have seen some reviews that it doesn’t hold more than 4 bananas, I have not found that to be true. I can put 6 heavy ripe bananas and it holds very nicely. I even attached pictures to show this.I would definitely recommend this product!

This is a nice, stylish, sturdy, silver tone banana stand. I’ve purchased up to 10 bananas in the past and this stand has no issues holding that bundle. It looks great in my kitchen!

I used to pay around 4-6$ each for the plastic ones from Walmart. These are more focused on functionality rather than asthetic but they get the job done. So far i am happy with them I bought 4 for 10$ each.Edit: 10-13-20 So far they are holding up and i bought 2 more. If anything happens i will definitely update my review.
