Cambridge Audio Official Protective Silicone Case For Melomania 1/1+ (Red)

Simple little device which fully protects my Melomania 1 earphone case. Because of the rubbery material it also has the additional benefit of the case not slipping accidentally from my pocket, as well as offering some drop protection. Little over priced for what it is but having said that a worthwhile purchase.

Pleasant feel, appealing colours, good grip in the pocket, and reasonably protective, only gripe is that I had to superglue it on because it’s a little loose fitting and the lid kept unraveling.

The silicon quality doesn't seem to be that good but will do the job of protecting the Melomania 1 case. The silicon protector also is a very loose fit as evidenced in the pic where I'm squeezing gently on the cap of the case - notice how the silicon departs slightly from the case. I would return it given the price but it's not worth my time.

You would think that this protective case would be quality being an official product but it is too big for the case, poor quality and after a few months the charging cover has snapped off. Buy a knock off version and don't waste your money on this. Cambridge Audio should be ashamed to put their name to such a poor product.

Having spent £100 on the Melomania 1's, naturally I'd want to protect the case, especially considering the charging case has a matte finish and attracts fingerprints and smudges. I'm only just content enough to not return this protective case. It's very cheap, thin and flimsy. It's not a snug fit on the case, although it's just short of what I'd describe as loose. The colour (red) also isn't as bright and vibrant as the photos suggest. The material also attracts all manner of dust and fluff. After half a day in my jeans and shirt pockets, it was covered in fibres, making the already dull red silicone even more displeasing to look at. Another annoyance is, whereas the silicone doesn't completed slide off the lid when opening the case, the force of the rubber doesn't let the case lid stay open to insert or retrieve the ear buds, it'll just snap closed, so you have to hold the lid open. The Melomania 1's are a great pair of ear buds, very happy with them so far. Due to that, I want to protect them. So I'm forcing myself to keep this silicone case, however if I had even 5 minutes to try it out before buying I wouldn't waste the £10. The quality of this product is 100 miles away from the ear buds themselves.

Excellent value for money

These headphones are so nearly perfect. The sound quality is excellent..just the right balance of highs,mids and lows that accoustics sound clear and precise but when the bass is needed for EDM or dance its punchy enough to satisfy without over powering . The user interface is fantastic and the ability to be able to control play/pause,forward and reverse tracks,volume up/down,answer calls and enter voice asst is perfect,puts other brands like sony at twice the price on the back foot. The only reason not a five star rating is the connection..can be weak sometimes when phone is simply in a jacket pocket or in some built up/commercial areas. Frustrating to say the least and were it not for the other positives being so well implemented would have been a deal breaker. If you can put up with the intermittent break up of bluetooth connection then these are one of the best available at the moment for the price

Ich habe direkt beim Kauf der Melomania 1 Kopfhörer dieses Case entdeckt. Auch wenn die Rezensionen gemischt waren, wollte ich mir ein eigenes Bild machen. + Bietet einen gewissen Schutz vor Stürzen + Für mein Empfinden angenehme Haptik + Gibt die Möglichkeit seinem Case etwas Farbe zu geben - Case hat im geschlossenen Zustand immer einen kleinen Spalt, dies ließe sich auf Dauer nur vermeiden in dem man das Case unter Zug aufklebt - Die Karabinerfunktion ist mehr Gimmik als alles andere, die Konstruktion kann unter schwerer oder mehrfacher Belastung einfach ausreißen - Die Abdeckung von der Ladebuchse kann man zwar reindrücken, diese ploppt aber dank ungenauer Passform jeder Zeit wieder raus womit jeglicher Spritzwasser- oder Staubschutz hinfällig ist. Mein persönliches Fazit: Insgesamt bin ich eher enttäuscht. Ich werde das Case mangels Alternativen trotzdem benutzen, allerdings nur für den Sturzschutz, vom Benutzen der Karabinerschlaufe kann ich jedem nur abraten.

Mi sono deciso a comprare questa custodia quando un giorno pensavo di aver perso gli auricolari, il fatto in seguito non si è piu' verificato. Le consiglio!

Protege la unidad de carga de arañazos y pequeños golpes. De momento no me ocurre lo que a algún que otro usuario que he leído, y es que la parte de la tapa no les encaja bien. Espero que no me pase. La recomiendo aunque es algo cara.

Es bonita y protege el estuche de arañazos principalmente pero el diseño es un poco decepcionante, el mosquetón va a durar en su sitio dos horas, la gomita con la que va unido a la funda es diminuta y al primer golpe se parte.
