Bayou Classic M7910 10-ft Stainless Braided LPG Hose Features 1/4-in MNPT x 3/8-in Flare Swivel Brass Connector

I loved the braided steel jacket! I live in a wooded location and thought the steel jacket was just the thing to keep mice, etc., from chewing, and it was. However, in less than 18 months the hose inside the jacket got so stiff that it took a permanent "set"*When I moved the hose to a new tank it began to leak at the fitting on the tank end. A hose clamp reduced the rate of leak, but nothing I could do would totally stop the leak.*Took a "set" - when I disconnected the hose from the tank and the regulator, you would have thought the hose inside the braid was copper tubing! The entire length of the hose that had been exposed to sunlight was as stiff as heavy cardboard. Purchased in April of 2020, by October of 2021 it was worse than worthless, it was DANGEROUS!In my opinion, the only place to use this hose would be inside, out of the sun, and where a leak detecting alarm device was close-by.

Worked ok. Price some cheaper than Lowes.

I bought this hose to use it as an extension for my bayou classic stainless steel burner SS84 , this burner came with a 4 feet hose which is not long enough to keep the propane tank away from the burner, but you have to buy the right size of connecter with this hose, the connecter is called ( Anderson metals brass tube fitting, coupling 3/8" flare X 1/4" female NPT

This appears to be a high quality hose that will be used to connect an outside BBQ.

We use ours as a torch hose and the wire mesh coating only lasts a couple months before it starts to get a fair number of burs on it. Still functions fine you just have to watch it so you don't get poked sometimes. Would probably be better for stationary only installation.

This is well made hose it is perfect for use in a propane forge where dropping a very hot object on a gas line could be a disaster, especially if you are running the burner at a very high pressure. I would definitely suggest this to anyone with that kind of application,

Bought two other rubber or plastic based hoses that did not last at all. Bought this one and solve my problem. Should have spent a few more pennies and bought this one first.
