Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 - PlayStation 2

The PGA Tour competition is way to hard for medium difficulty and shots from the medium rough. I found that the player has to score 15 to 20 under par to win (this is for a round of 4). From watching the PGA Tour on TV, most of the pros can win with 10 to 15 under par for the 4-round tournament. Also, using the analog sticks to hit the ball proved exceedingly difficult. I do not intend to spend 100 hours of practice to use the analog sticks. What saved the game for me was the option to use the Swing meter get much better consistency of a golf shot than using the analog sticks. Also, the unlocking of Pro Shop items and cover stories was confusing. I was hoping that as I got better, more golf courses would be unlocked, but I did not notice that. Same thing for items in the Pro Shop. I played the game for a long time, but I seem to have reached a static point where no other items are unlocked.

This game does actually work well for being a 10 year old game

I loved the graphics, the beginners stage was not intimidating. I do wish however the create a player option had more flexibility in terms of creating and saving you current info, saving options can be a lil confusing, but overall the game is great, I am glad I bought it because it is truly addicting.

Graphics are not as good as they were in 2009, and the 'come-on' lines at EA Sports web site let you believe that the Predator and several other top courses are included, but they aren't on PSII. They appear to be on PSIII and Wii and XBOX. The fact that I haven't upgraded th PSIII shouldn't penalize me, but it does. The game is still fun,just could be better.

This game is fun to play. The graphics still are not as good as the ones in 08 and back. There are glitches with the player profiles. The players faces seem to be deformed. also like 09 this game has the same glitch where you get corrupt errors on your memory card and have to start all over from scratch. Also the ball will act funny and you lose your clubs. If they come out with 11 and can fix all these glitches it would be really great to play.

Disk was heavily scratched. Was supposed to be in great condition. We have had a lot of trouble getting it to work. Sometimes works, then freezes up. Ultimately seems un-usable. Our PS2 is in great condition so I know its not the machine.

Nothing wrong with the game, I enjoy it. The only problem I have with it is that I have played Tiger Woods 13 on a PS3 so this is not nearly as cool but I do enjoy it.

Got the NTSC (American) version instead of PAL (European) so couldn't play it. Contacted the seller and they gave me HALF refund. Very disappointed..
