Does the job well and as advertised.
These are sturdy and have held up nicely in 70mph winds. Make sure you have the right tool to get them all the way into the ground. You do that and you're good to go.

Inexpensive and well-made, heavy-duty stakes for anchoring tripod.
Received these and used the to anchor an Ambient Weather tripod for my Davis Pro2 weather station. They're solidly built and reasonably priced.

They do the job but are pricey.
They came wrapped but the tops were a but rusty. It looked like they were left outside. For that price I expected better. They do the job but I placed concrete blocks on top to insure it won't topple in a 40 MPH wind which we experience on occasion.

Great holding power
Works great, I use them to hold down a tripod when I have an antenna mounted for testing.

They are not the advertised picture
I liked that they seem to hold well however they are not the picture that is advertised.

Not for us in the (Texas) Hill Country.
These stakes don't penetrate Texas Hill Country ground and begin bending soon after starting to drive them in with a 32 oz hammer. Couldn't get one in more than 1/3 of the way and it was bent in a few places when I pulled it out. There should be an obvious disclaimer. Only for soft ground, mostly topsoil. Waste of time and money for me.

Stake Kit
The Stake kit was with my bundled order and it was just as described. Very easy to put the stakes in my weather station tripod and hammered them down with ease. Still have room for more if I decide later on (2 more holes) to massively secure it but feel very comfortable that it will hold up in most if not all storms here in Florida.
