This notebook shrugged off my watery onslaught like a duck scoffing at a drizzle.Shooters, you know the drill: a drizzle can turn a range day sour faster than a misaligned scope. But this notebook defies nature and laughs in the face of adversity, much like us when we nail that 1,000-yard shot. For its ability to withstand everything short of a tornado and its commitment to preserving our shooting stats, I award the Rite in the Rain Logbook a perfect five-star rating. Just keep it away from the campfire – it's a 'Rite in the Rain' notebook, not a 'Jot in the Inferno'.So, let the heavens open, and let the rain pour! This DOPE logbook and I are ready for anything. Good dope book.In the front you have 2 pages for a session round count to keep an over all total for the rifle. There are 52 entry slots here.There are 52 dope pages, to track data within a range day.If you shoot once a week this should last you a year.

Some may want more pre-printed data collection sections than these provide, but the photos in the listing showed exactly what I was getting before I ordered so I can't complain about that - especially since these pages have plenty of space to add whatever additional data I want. In fact, at the time I bought these, this 2 pack had a lower per-unit price going via Subscribe & Save than even the 3-pack of standard-ruled (no DOPE sections) 4"x6" Rite in the Rain pads, with which I'd have been fully satisfied anyway because I can always just create my own format and copy it by hand to succeeding pages. Anyone unhappy with the number of session pages provided per pad here is probably shooting often enough to justify finding another source within the "pro" communities for DOPE books. This just makes a handy book to keep with something I will probably only take to the range infrequently; if I get more serious with that particular piece of hardware, I'll find a more serious data book solution - the pros, and even the hardcore amateurs, have plenty of templates circulating online.

Exactly as advertised, easier to carry in range bag than full size DOPE book.

I needed to have a DOPE book for a recent long range rifle course. Found this and figured I would give it a try. I didn't want something too big so it would fit into my pack. The reviews on this seemed pretty good so I gave it a try. I love it.I used a 5.11 pen and it works great. It's big enough to put all the data you need and it's organized enough to not have you document things you don't need.I would buy this again/recommend it to anyone

Good product in that it’s a durable write in the rain product. Its saving grace is the fact that it has blank/lined sheets to accompany the DOPE sheets. The form they’ve opted to use is generic I get, but would have been nice to have some additional info boxes like muzzle velocity, etc. The blank sheets allow adding this info, so I’m going 4 stars.

I bought this for keeping track of all my data. It has a very organized way of keeping track of all you data whether it is your shot count, temp, dew point and many more things to keep track of. I have kept it out of the rain so I can not attest to the durability but it is everything I wished for.

The DOPE logbook is a great size not to large easy to place on the shooting bench along your rifle to record the data as you shoot. Unlike other logbooks it only has the actual item required for each load you are shooting not filled with other useless data.

Good for the shooter Who likes to write down a lot of details. A Little too specific maybe.
