A 40 wt oil is a middle of the road choice that works for a huge variety of rc vehicles
I’ve tried cheaper oils, but I always come back to TLR Silicone Shock Oil. The 40 wt is my go-to for my 1/10 scale buggy when the track starts getting a bit more technical. What sets this apart is the consistency—it doesn't thin out halfway through a long main, and it bleeds perfectly every time. The 4 oz bottle is a great value and lasts a long time.
