Teva is an authentic icon in the outdoor industry. Founded in the early 1980's by a Colorado River guide, Teva pioneered the sport-sandal category. For more than 20 years on rivers, in canyons, and across the trails of the great outdoors, athletes and enthusiasts have traveled the globe comfortably and confidently in Teva footwear. Providing positive contributions to the world in which we play is at the core of everything Teva stands for. The Teva name itself is a Hebrew word meaning "nature" and the hand logo is the Hopi symbol for "friendship" and "water." Teva supports the outdoor athletic lifestyle and remains committed to innovation in outdoor performance footwear, the platforms which carry enthusiasts beyond the offices of the day-to-day and onto the rivers, trails, and canyons of the next adventure.

Still holds up nearly 4 years later!
This is my first time writing a review on Amazon, and I decided to lend some of my experience with owning this great product. Although one of the weightier and “chunkier” pairs of sandals out there, it provides much better support walking for longer distances than a regular store pair of flip flops. In my nearly 4 years owning this pair, the only wear to see are some loose threads and darker toe-shaped patches (to be expected on a lighter-colored canvas constantly in touch with my active feet). If you’re looking for the convenience of slip-on footwear without sacrificing comfort, look no further!

Not the wonderful Teva of yore
I have had five pairs of Teva thong sandals. The first three were the best I have ever owned. I took many hikes of 5+ miles in them on mountain trails. Never a problem, never a sore foot. The new ones on sale today have pillowy soles and never break-in. They are OK for very short walks, but not for hikes or even long-term wear. Your feet will wobble and you risk injury and discomfort. I called Teva about the new design and the guy on the phone said, yes, they have been changed and that he, too, regretted that the company had "taken a new direction" with their thongs. The change was a few years ago, so this may not reflect your experience.

I have been wearing Tevas for at least the last 15 years and this time tried the Jetter with the rubber sole. Not sure why but the sole has never felt comfortable and I haven't felt the traction that the Pajaro's deliver.

Not bad but....
These aren't bad, but...These are a poor substitute for the old Teeva Agate sandals which I assume they are replacing. The leather thong on the Agates was rock solid and had a much better look to them than these.

Real comfortable
Real comfortable but the strap seemed to be a little tight for the foot? I think I can just wet it to see if it stretches a little?

These are the nicest sandals I've had in years. Teva has not been producing flip flops of this quality for several years, and I'm glad to see that they are once again making a high quality shoe.

Great Sandal
These fit great! Love the arch. And they look awesome! I have a broken arch so I am very picky about sandals. These pass the test!

awesome for your feet
I have about 5 or 6 pair of OluKai flip flops and love them but I aggravated a tendon in my ankle and needed some flops with more cushioning and support in the heel. My podiatrist recommended either Keen or Teva, so I ordered a pair of each. These Teva's have some great support in the heel. I started wearing these right out of the box without issue, but I wear flip flops every day so break in isn't normally an issue. Teva has surprised me with this flip flop and in a good way. I'm leary of the light footpad becoming dirty over time, so I'll see how that plays out.
