This is the PERFECT first baby doll for your little girl. I'm so happy with this purchase. The doll is beautiful and great quality. She can sit up on her own, she's soft and her eyes open and close. Her face is so cute and she's the perfect size for my toddler. She was my daughter's Christmas gift, she's almost 2 years old but I think this would be the perfect gift for any age little girl!

This doll is beautifully made and has a squeaker in its chest. It cannot sit up very well but it’s eyes open when the doll is lifted and they close when the doll is lying down. The age range recommendation of 2+ years old sounds about right because it is wearing an intricate outfit. If I was on a deserted island and could only bring one thing, I would bring this doll. It is worth every penny.

Pretty Pinafore Huggums was introduced in 2006. She comes in a pretty pink and blue striped box with a polka dot lid. She is a charming 12-inch baby doll. Huggums is dressed in a darling white dress with short puffed sleeves. Her pinafore has decorative pink and yellow machine embroidery flowers on the skirt and on her shoes. Huggums is wearing adorable white pantalets trimmed with pink around the bottom of each leg. She has a lovable vinyl face with blue eyes that open and close. Her pink cloth body is soooo soft and cuddy. The arms, hands, legs and feet are a hard vinyl. The perfect baby doll for any girl to love. Madame Alexander dolls are made with quality and style.

I bought this for my daughter’s first birthday! It’s beautiful, huggable, and the perfect size. I love the vintage look of this dolly! Really so perfect.

This is a beautiful doll and comes in a beautiful box. It is much smaller than the picture on the website, but never the less, a beautiful doll. This is a gift for a little girl that just turned two. I think little girls older than two would like it as well. I purchased several dolls so I could pick and choose the one I liked best. While the cheaper M.A. dolls are cute and adorable, they do not compare to this one.

Perfect, loved it

I was SO excited to receive this doll. It had a vintage charm and looked perfect for a little girl, but man what a let down. The colours are much different in person. The doll appears to have a soft colour pallet but the actual doll clothing is much more vibrant than in the photo, the lips are like a hot pink and are more open than the photo - the blush was only visible on one cheek. It is a very lightweight doll, it could not sit as the photo suggests. And the thing I disliked the most was that the head is not proportioned to the body, it looks much smaller than it shoudd. Given the less than stellar quality material and what it looks like in person, I would price this more in the $15 category, not $50. It was promptly returned.
