Does anyone use these for shrink film or does it get too hot?

I dont know but it is made from metal so it will conduct heat easily

if there is anything that could get into a tiny space it would be this tool . I used mine to tie knots into small thread lines on a sailing ship model. I will caution you to not lose or throw away the rubber protector for the tips as it is very sharp and pointed .
