Arm rest Slider compatible with Mini F55/F56 3/5 doors 2014-

Only took five minutes to fit. Very good easy fit and almost! looks stock. Very good value. Not the best quality there is, but for the price it’s good enough.I have an OE one in my jcw and you can instantly see and feel the difference. How long it will last? Only time will tell. No point having one if you sit very close to the steering wheel. But good for the passenger. I would recommend one.

Easy to fit and good quality. Not the strongest but it is only held in with 4 screws but seems ok for serving it's purpose. It does feel a little high so I'll just get used to it. Overall, happy!

Not bad for the price easy to put in plastic is a bit cheap looking at the bottom but once in cant realy see it. mine slides takes a bit of pushing quite happy with it.

So... I’ve been searching for a after market arm rest for my 2017 mini, as I didn’t opt for one when I purchased my car. This was the only one I found, that I was certain would fit my car.. and it did. On owning it for a while, I can say - the quality is quite rubbish. It does the job, but seems like it will break quite quickly. It freaks every time I rest my elbow on it - it required four small holes to be made in the plastic surrounding the hand brake. I didn’t mind to do it, as I thought what the heck, but I could only drill three holes, as the fourth would have gone through my hand brake. (I did try, but it had resistance so I thought I wouldn’t risk it) - I got it for £45. That’s reasonable as I couldnt find any other to fit, but when I originally added to my basket it was £79. It’s not worth any more than £50

I'd been looking at getting an original mini armrest fitted but very expensive and this was perfect alternative. Its molded to fit and only needed to screw 4 self tapping screws into pre drilled holes. Has nice black caps to fit over them so would never notice not original. The extra storage cones in handy and nice soft imitation leather on armrest.

I wished this item had more product detail, but given the cost of the genuine one I took the plunge. Firstly, it's not the one in the pic, it's flip not slide and doesn't fit in the cup holder. Secondly, you have to use 4 self tappers to attatch it, which does hold it surprisingly well, but only buy if you are happy to screw holes in your car! (You can't see them). It does the job, looks OEM unless you look closely, and makes a big difference on long journeys.

L’installation est facile, j’ai ajouté de la colle à pare-brise pour une meilleure fixation. Le résultat est conforme à mon attente.

Update: Nach rund einer Woche Nutzung muss ich meine Kaufempfehlung stark einschränken. All die unten beschriebenen Vorteile gelten nachwievor, allerdings hat sich nun ein Nachteil gezeigt, der die Vorteile überwiegt: Der Widerstand beim Hochlappen der Armlehne ist so gering, dass die Lehne als Ganzes gleich mit hochgeht, wenn man nur den Deckel aufmachen möchte, so dass man mit einer Hand die Lehne festhalten muss, wenn man den Deckel öffnen möchte - während des Fahrens natürlich „ideal“. Man kann zwar Schrauben anziehen, so dass der Widerstand erst mal wieder stark genug ist. Diese Wirkung verpufft aber spätestens nach dem 3 ganz Hochklappen, da die Schrauben sich schnell wieder lockern. Somit: Kaufempfehlung leider eher nein. Verstehe die teils schlechten Rezensionen nicht. Der Fuß der Mittelarmlehne ist formtechnisch sehr gut an die Haltestelle angepasst, die Qualität des Obermaterials macht einen wertigen Eindruck und viel Platz für Handy & Co bietet der Innenraum auch noch. Zudem passt das Ganze sich sehr gut in den Innenraum des MINIs (bei mir ein F56) ein. Auch die Stabilität nach der Installation gibt bislang keinen Anlass zur Sorge. Vielleicht ist der Preis etwas zu hoch angesetzt (so um die 70 € zb wären wohl passender) und ein paar Zusatzschrauben als Ersatz wären gut gewesen, aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau. Insgesamt bedeutet die Mittelarmlehne eine sehr praktische Aufwertung des Innenraums und daher von mir eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

Überteuert schlechte Qualität

The armrest doesn't have a sliding cover, but swinging. Lower side of the armrest it has semi glossy plastic as a difference from uper side plastic, which is more compatible with original interior design. What is the level of durability, only time will tell.
